Returning to SDCC 2026 are Hulu's Animayhem and Percy Jackson and The Olympians Activations

Hulu's Animayhem

Percy Jackson and The Olympians

Hulu's Animayhem and Percy Jackson and The Olympians activations are back again for San Diego Comic Con 2026. Both offsite are known to be some of the best activations in previous years. Percy Jackson was so popular last year, that the line was capped before it opened. People waited hours in advance of when it opened each day. The lines for Animayhem can get really long too and the wait can take hours. If you're a fan of the animated shows Futurama and King of the Hill, it's worth the wait especially since there will be themed food and drinks and if it's like the previous year some cool themed swag.

DISNEY ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION PANELS AND ACTIVATIONS AT SDCC 2026

Disney Entertainment Television returns to downtown San Diego this July with mythical quests, mouthwatering bites and more, delivering a stacked programming lineup and can’t-miss experiences from across its portfolio of content brands, including 20th Television, 20th Television Animation, ABC, Disney+, Disney Kids & Family, FX and Hulu.

Beginning Thursday, July 23, Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up, FX’s “AHS” 13 Flavors stunt, and the “Percy Jackson” Experience outdoor activations will be open to the public directly outside the San Diego Convention Center, plus eight star-studded panels taking place throughout the weekend.

This year, Hulu Animayhem is taking over the Gaslamp with a food and beverage-driven, fan-first experience inspired by “Futurama” and “King of the Hill.” The iconic Planet Express returns to Comic-Con alongside Bobby Hill’s new Robata Chane venture. Guests can enjoy themed offerings like Fry’s 100 Days of Cold Brew and Robata Chane-inspired yakitori. As guests fuel up, they’ll explore immersive environments, uncover hidden Easter eggs and capture shareable moments inspired by fan-favorite storylines from each series. On the exhibit floor, Hulu Animayhem fans can also shop for new merchandise and SDCC exclusives from their favorite series like “Bob’s Burgers,” “King of the Hill,” “Futurama,” “Family Guy” and more at booth #4229.

In celebration of the upcoming 13th installment of “American Horror Story,” FX is taking over San Diego with fan-favorite characters and sinister sweets inspired by the series. A fleet of four branded ice cream trucks will serve up a total of 12 different flavors, each inspired by a different installment. Fans will also get the chance to see a few iconic “AHS” characters, including Rubber Man (“Murder House”), Twisty the Clown (“Freak Show”), the Witch (“Coven”) and more. On Saturday evening, fans will be invited to a secret location to experience the 13th Scoop. Stay tuned for more information at @ahsfx.

Returning to SDCC, the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Experience will allow fans to choose their own adventure as they step into the titan-sized trident. Along the shared journey, guests will be invited to choose which character’s path they will follow: Percy, Annabeth or Thalia. Each prong becomes a distinct, character-driven environment that reflects the forces shaping their quest. Prophecy-led clues, hidden Easter eggs from the upcoming season and exclusive Camp Half-Blood pins will all be revealed throughout the mythical journey.

SDCC 2025 Final Recap

Hank Hill walking around outside the King of the Hill Offsite

SDCC 2025 was just as epic as previous years. This year we focused on a lot of the offsite activation that were held all around the convention center and throughout the Gaslamp / downtown SD area. The exhibition hall is huge every year. Most companies that have exclusives have their own rules/handling of how their exclusives will be sold. All of that is usually announced through their socials or website. The big ones that attracts the biggest fan base with highly sought after exclusives were Mattel, Funko, Pop Mart, 100% Soft, UCC Distributing and more.

One of the most epic things we saw inside the exhibit hall this year was at the LEGO booth! They built SDCC, convention center and booths!!!

Below is our slideshow that we posted on our Instagram account.

Once you get through the line you are given a King of the Hill card that tells you what activities there are inside Arlen, Texas as well as tickets for a trucker hat and bbq food. There were various photo ops as well as several games to win prizes such as a can koozie, pin sets etc.... Pick up your trucker hat at Mega Lo Mart, food at the Hill House Backyard BBQ and stop at the Water Tower to pick up your can of Alamo water.
