DC UNVEILS LINEUP FOR SDCC 2026

[Burbank, CA] DC today announced its fan activations for Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), centered around its expanded DC Booth (#4544) on the convention floor from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26.

In 2026, DC continues its annual decadebydecade celebration of its publishing legacy by spotlighting the 1950s. Following last year's celebration of DC's earliest publishing era, the 2026 DC Booth turns its attention to an era of reinvention, experimentation, and imagination that helped shape the future of DC Comics. As DC marches toward its 100th anniversary, this year’s booth honors a transformative decade that introduced bold new heroes, groundbreaking ideas, and creative storytelling that continues to inspire generations of fans.

The 1950s marked a creative turning point for DC. Showcase #4 introduced Barry Allen and helped usher in the Silver Age of comics. Action Comics #252 debuted Supergirl, Action Comics #241 revealed Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, and Showcase #22 reimagined Green Lantern with Hal Jordan. Beyond superheroes, the 1950s saw DC expand into science fiction, mystery, romance, Westerns, humor, and suspense, reflecting a period of extraordinary creative growth and experimentation.

The 2026 DC Booth brings this era to life with art, activations, and experiences inspired by one of the most influential periods in DC history, including a celebration of MAD Magazine, which debuted in 1952 and helped redefine satire for generations. Under the guidance of Harvey Kurtzman and the legendary “Usual Gang of Idiots,” MAD offered readers a sharp, hilarious lens on entertainment, politics, and popular culture, leaving a lasting mark on generations of creators and fans. Fans can visit the booth’s 1950sinspired Daily Planet newsstand and pick up a free MAD Magazine #1 facsimile, complete with classic ads pulled from DC’s archives and a Daily Planet blank back cover designed for creator signatures.

SDCC 2025 Final Recap

Hank Hill walking around outside the King of the Hill Offsite

SDCC 2025 was just as epic as previous years. This year we focused on a lot of the offsite activation that were held all around the convention center and throughout the Gaslamp / downtown SD area. The exhibition hall is huge every year. Most companies that have exclusives have their own rules/handling of how their exclusives will be sold. All of that is usually announced through their socials or website. The big ones that attracts the biggest fan base with highly sought after exclusives were Mattel, Funko, Pop Mart, 100% Soft, UCC Distributing and more.

One of the most epic things we saw inside the exhibit hall this year was at the LEGO booth! They built SDCC, convention center and booths!!!

Below is our slideshow that we posted on our Instagram account.

Crunchyroll Anime FanFest at SDCC 2025 Recap

We finally got a chance to check out Crunchyroll Anime FanFest! This is an oasis for anyone in San Diego wanting to relax on the Rady Shell lawn and enjoy music, wind, and the sun. This two day music festival is open to the public and anyone can attend, no badge necessary. There was photo ops, food available to purchase, and freebies. Premium Subscribers got access to preferred seating areas. VIPs were treated to a sectioned off tent that had appetizers and drinks and were allowed to sit at any red chair. We stopped by when Noodles was playing their set and it was awesome! Unfortunately this year we were too tired to go see the fireworks, but hopefully next year we will be able to catch them!
