WHAT:                                  STARZ to host panels for the critical and fan favorite “Outlander;” (returns 2016) featuring cast and creators including Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore, author Diana Gabaldon and actors Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, as well as for the new original series “Ash vs Evil Dead,” (first season premieres Fall 2015) featuring cast and creators including Executive Producers and original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce Campbell, plus Lucy Lawless, during San Diego Comic-Con 2015.

Factory Entertainment Announces Outlander Collectibles License

Concord, CA – Factory Entertainment, Inc., the Concord, California-based producer of licensed toys and collectibles, announced today that it has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television to produce a wide range of products from the STARZ Original Series Outlander.

The series – which spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one epic tale - is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s New York Times bestselling Outlander book series. Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 and thrown by circumstances beyond her control into the arms of Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior.

With the first eight episodes having already garnered critical and popular acclaim, Outlander is due to return to Starz for the second half of its first season on April 4, 2015. A second season is already in pre-production.

Factory Entertainment will be offering a wide variety of Outlander products across several categories including: Pillows, Towels, Stationery, Lithographs, Drink Bottles, Jewelry Replicas and Costume Accessory Replicas.

San Diego Comic-Con 2014 on Friday, July 25^th

Starz will present the highly anticipated new series “Outlander,” based on The New York Times bestselling novels penned by Diana Gabaldon with executive producer Ronald D. Moore at a panel on Friday, July 25^th at 2:15pm in room 6A at San Diego Comic Con.

  

“Outlander” spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one epic tale. It follows the story of Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a married combat nurse from 1945, who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. Upon her arrival, she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited and Claire's heart is torn between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
