STARZ Releases NEW “BLACK SAILS” Season Three Graphic Illustration From Celebrated Artist Fiona Staples

Starz released today the seventh and final graphic novel illustration by celebrated artist and illustrator Fiona Staples created for the STARZ Original series “Black Sails.” The season three image released today follows six previous graphic novel illustrations for seasons one and two also created by Staples, and is the only one to feature the third season of “Black Sails,” which premieres Saturday, January 23^rd at 9:00 pm ET/PT only on STARZ. Fiona Staples is a Canadian comic book artist and illustrator, who is best known for her work on “North 40,” “DV8: Gods and Monsters,” “T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents,” and “Saga.” Other work includes “Mystery Society,” “Done to Death,” “Secret History of the Authority: Hawksmoor,” “Jonah Hex,” “Northlanders,” “Criminal Macabre,” “Superman/Batman,” “Archie,” and more. Beverly Hills, Calif., October 28, 2015 – Ahead of its Halloween premiere, STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” has earned an early renewal for a second season from Starz. Strong fan, affiliate and distributor demand for the highly-anticipated premiere of “Ash vs Evil Dead" has generated the early pickup of the series which is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film The Evil Dead.

Executive producers and The Evil Dead original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell will return for the second season with executive producer and showrunner Craig DiGregorio. Campbell will continue in his role as Ash Williams, the aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter. Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) is also returning as Ruby, a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks.

Production on Season Four of the Epic Pirate Drama Begins this Fall in South Africa

Beverly Hills, Calif., March 27, 2015 – The STARZ Original series “Blunt Talk” released a first look teaser of  the 10-episode first season of the half-hour scripted comedy series from MRC and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Ames (creator and showrunner), Stephanie Davis and Tristram Shapeero.  The teaser will premiere on-air during the “Black Sails” finale on Saturday, March 28 at 9 PM ET/PT.

Set in Los Angeles, the story follows Walter Blunt, a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news and the fallout from his well-intentioned, but mostly misguided decision-making, both on and off the air. The series will premiere on STARZ in the summer of 2015.

Beverly Hills, Calif., March 24, 2015 -Starz announced today the casting of Ray Stevenson (“Rome,” Divergent), as the iconic pirate ‘Blackbeard,’ also known as ‘Edward Teach,’ on the Emmy®-winning Original series “Black Sails.” One of the most notorious pirates to have ever lived, ‘Edward Teach’ (‘Blackbeard’) returns to settle some unfinished business, but a great deal has changed during his absence, and he will have to disrupt cemented alliances and challenge new ones to achieve the impossible.

Starz also released a new behind-the-scenes ‘first look’ at season three which is currently in production in South Africa. Factory Entertainment Announces Outlander Collectibles License

Concord, CA – Factory Entertainment, Inc., the Concord, California-based producer of licensed toys and collectibles, announced today that it has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television to produce a wide range of products from the STARZ Original Series Outlander.

The series – which spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history, and adventure in one epic tale - is adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s New York Times bestselling Outlander book series. Outlander follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743 and thrown by circumstances beyond her control into the arms of Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior.

With the first eight episodes having already garnered critical and popular acclaim, Outlander is due to return to Starz for the second half of its first season on April 4, 2015. A second season is already in pre-production.
