Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018 Recap

Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018 seemed to be smaller than last year. There was no outside events with the food trucks and dog cosplay contest like last year. The weather had been pretty rainy up until Saturday Morning of the SVCC when it finally started to dry out.

(November 22, 2017) – Registration is now open for Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC) 2018. The first guests for the April event were announced today by SVCC, including special guest of honor Stan Lee. Other guests announced were Sean Astin, Matthew Lewis, and Jewel Staite.

“We are excited to launch SVCC 3.0 with such an amazing group of guests, including the legendary Stan Lee”, said Trip Hunter, Chairman of SVCC. “This is just the first of a long list of exciting announcements about guests and events that we will be adding to our lineup to make SVCC the best science, technology, and pop culture event for our fans – whether they’re a new attendee or an alumni.”

Save the Dates for Famous Monsters Halloween Bash in San Jose Oct 27-29

Celebrate all things Halloween, horror, and fantastical up close and personal with interactive entertainment throughout the show, something the whole family can enjoy.

3-Days of Halloween Fun at the San Jose Convention Center on October 27th-29th. You can purchase tickets HERE. Children 12 and under are FREE.

Ghouls and Zombies come out to play, mingle with an impressive lineup of celebrity guests, artists from the horror and suspense genres. FAMOUS MONSTERS has been the leading authority on all things horror, sci-fi, and fantasy related for 59 years and now are bringing decades of horror, sci-fi, fandom to San Jose Convention Center. 

The event will feature horror stars from films such as Hellraiser, Gremlins, and Re-Animator, as well as casts of DAWN OF THE DEAD and the other Living Dead movies to celebrate the legendary George A. Romero. 

Also recently added was a few of the original child actors from the original movie IT.

Silicon Valley Comic Con This Weekend!

Silicon Valley Comic Con is back this weekend, April 21-23 at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA.

Show hours are:
Friday - 5pm - 9pm
Saturday - 10am - 7pm
Sunday - 10am - 5pm

This year the event has expanded to outdoor venues where there will be an Outdoor Festival that will host the Dog Cosplay Contest, Car Cosplay and more entertainment. There are a lot of exciting events that will take place this weekend! Go HERE to learn more.

FAMOUS MONSTERS Brings Epic Halloween Party to San Jose

SAN JOSE, CA — If Halloween means monsters and partying, then a Famous Monsters Party is the place to be.

San Jose Convention Center will be hosting the FAMOUS MONSTERS HALLOWEEN BASH, Oct 27-29, 2017, and Cosmic Con has hit the ground running with the guest roster, announcing stars from HELLRAISER (Doug Bradley, aka Pinhead), GREMLINS (Zach Galligan), and RE-ANIMATOR (Jeffrey Combs), as well as Richard Brake from GAME OF THRONES and Jeff Daniel Phillips of HBO’s WESTWORLD. Original Scream Queen Adrienne Barbeau (SWAMP THING) will be there, along with legendary stunt man Tom Morga, who has played three different slashers on screen (Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Leatherface).
