Dream BIG and Back Yuna & Kitty on Kickstarter
With only 4 days left on Dream Big Friends Yuna Doll & Kitty Kickstarter Campaign, they are at 39% of their goal as of this posting.
What we love about this project is that Yuna is more than just a regular toy on the shelf, she's a dreamer and she's more than just makeup and clothes . She has a personality that is like you and I. She is the first Asian American doll to be made. She is also the central character of the Dream Big Friends doll line and if this project gets funded we will see other ethnic groups as well as boys. Yuna is 10 inches tall and very articulated, unlike other dolls where articulation is very limited.
This is the first doll that we have seen that has so much articulation and has endless play capabilities. Boys always gets the cool action figure with lots of articulation and fun play-sets. It's about time that girls get an articulated doll and can pose them while taking them along on fun-filled adventures. Not all girls wants to be princesses or a fashion model.
This is one doll that we would actually buy if we saw it on the store shelf. When it comes to Barbies or other dolls, it's an easy pass. Some dolls are just too scary or creepy. Our household growing up, we never had dolls but we had stuffed animals or other toys. When we were kids, our imagination was endless. We dreamed big all the time but were limited to what was available in the toy industry. We wish this was available to us when we were growing up.
We have the opportunity now to change a little bit of what the Toy Industry has to offer the next generation of kids. We have backed this project and now it's up to you to help back this project or spread the word to anyone and everyone you know.

Dream Big Friends' Yuna Doll on Kickstarter
"The Dream Big Friends doll line is an imaginative play experience for everyone. Our goal is empowerment and inspiration."We would have posted this sooner but the campaign launched right when we were headed to Designer Con and of course the Thanksgiving Holidays this past week put a lot of things on hold. If you were at Designer Con, Dream Big Friends had their own booth and showed off Yuna for the first time!

Uglydoll x Universal Studios Monsters Collaboration???
David Horvath (Uglydoll Creator) revealed these images on his Google+ page & Skullbrain showing various images of Uglydolls as Universal Studios Monsters. The first picture shows a tiny vinyl figure which also looks to be an Uglydoll as the Creature from The Black Lagoon. The top 3 pictures were taken at Universal Studios in their back lot (where they film their shows/movies/commercials etc...). The second picture shows Tray as the Bride of Frankenstein & Wedgehead as Frankenstein. The third picture shows Vampire Icebat. Finally the 4th picture shows the tag/packaging of these upcoming Uglydolls in collaboration with Universal (Universal Studios). Not sure if these will be exclusive to only Universal Studios Theme Parks but hopefully we will know shortly because these are just too awesome!!!!

Special Uglydoll Cookie Dream Babo at SDCC 2011
David Horvath x Uglydoll will be bringing along a Special Limited Edition, Cookie Dream Babo.
"When Babo sleeps, he dreams of cookies, but when he wakes up, he has even bigger dreams.
What are your dreams?
See that building over there? See that car? That road? That lamp? That all came from an idea in someone’s mind. So when they tell you it’s all in your head, smile as wide as Babo does, because you’re on your way. Babo may be a dreamer, but he knows the dreams become real through action. So now it’s time to wake up and eat the cookie."
Ok, this is so cute!!!! A must have for me!
