Lamour Supreme's Baby Huey "HELL" Release at My Plastic Heart

Lamour Supreme updated on twitter with more info on his Baby Huey exclusive with My Plastic Heart. This is called Baby Huey "HELL" Edition and will be released this at 1PM ET Saturday, September 22nd at MPH retail store and if any is left over will be sold online in their store on Tuesday, September 25th at 1PM ET. This is a hand painted edition of 9 by Lamour and 2 unpainted Mix parts blind bagged with 11x17" print.

The Toy Box: Chima Group's Formal "Banana Coat"

Chima Group recently introduced us to their newest figure Formal - A Strange Bird. Formal wears a bowler hat and for their first release he has on a banana coat. (Don't you see the resemblance of a banana?) Formal is the tallest so far of all the Chima Group figures. He stands 5.25" tall and has 1 point of articulation on the neck. You can rotate his head. You can purchase Formal directly from Chima Group or if you were quick enough last week, you could've picked him up at Rotofugi. As of this post, Rotofugi is sold out of Formal.

Splurrt announced that their "Hell Fire Burnin'"  Mecha Brain Cadaver Kids will be released through FOE Gallery. Keep checking FOE or Splurrt for more release info. This release is aweseome! A definite Must Have!

Skinner just announced that he will be releasing his "Spring Heeled Jack" Ultrus Bog colorway on Monday, September 17th in his store. The colors are awesome!!!!!

Born from the dank alley ways and fog of Victorian London, comes a haunted thing of horrible intent..Spring heeled Jack, The legendary freak who goes a hopping over the brick walls and school yards of a time not long ago comes to you, breathing his poisonous fire and mischievous intent, will he steal your children? Why would he do that? I don't know so you better keep an eye on those dirt faced urchins a'fore spring heeled jack is a' leaping through your town doing bad things to upstanding english folk like yourself!

Skinner painted these to have a greenish glow and a darkness that he describes as "netherworld oil black & gamma irradiated green".

Giant Robot Biennale 3 + Project Remix

The Japanese American National Museum Presents: Giant Robot Biennale 3 + Project Remix with the opening reception on September 22 from 6-10PM. Project Remix is a custom vinyl show that uses Uglydoll creator David Horvath's figures. If you were at SDCC 2012 there was a mini Project Remix show at Giant Robot's Booth.

The Japanese American National Museum presents Giant Robot Biennale 3, its third show in conjunction with Eric Nakamura, owner of Asian American pop culture juggernaut Giant Robot. The expansive show features a gallery of eight emerging artists along with a customized vinyl figure collection.

Following two previous successful exhibitions at the National Museum, the Biennale continues to push the envelope with a creative, fresh, and uniquely interactive experience. This year’s exhibition highlights the works of Rob Sato, Deth P. Sun, Ako Castuera, Eishi Takaoka, Saelee Oh, Sean Chao, Albert Reyes, and Zach Gage, all with long ties to Giant Robot. Each artist brings their original style, from whimsical wall paintings and creatures in clay worlds, to a life-size “haunted” maze especially built for this Biennale.

Using Uglydoll creator David Horvath figures, Nakamura curated Project Remix, a custom vinyl show with over 80 artists from seven countries—including the rare combination of both established customizers and fine artists. The roster of artists for the project:

Sacramento Vintage Toy, Action Figure & GI Joe Show

Toy Fusion presents their 1st Annual Sacramento Vintage Toy, Action Figure & Gi Joe Show on Sunday, September 23rd from 10am-4pm at the Scottish Rite Center in Sacramento, CA.
