Cometdebris will be releasing the Kappa Shonen Happy Bags on Friday, June 14th at 9PM Pacific Time in his online store HERE for $75 + shipping. Teasers above from Cometdebris' Instagram. These are blind bagged so you don't know what you get until you open it.

"Each bag will include a custom Kappa Shonen, done in clear vinyl, solid vinyl, or never before seen vinyl colors. All are custom painted by Koji Harmon, with original t-shirt designs, tattoos, and other surprises."

There are no quantity limits so you can order as many as you want. Shipping is an additional $3 for each item.

Thinkway Toys x Despicable ME Minion Surprise Figure. Found these the other day while randomly shopping. You never know what you can find. These are mini figures blind bagged so you don't know which figure you're getting. Shown above are the front and back of the packaging.  Retail is about $2.99.

Here's what we got when we opened the one we purchased.

When you open the package you will see this first as this is on top of the figure inside. It's basically the same thing as the packaging but made out of cardboard so you can throw your foil packaging away and still have the checklist in cardboard form.

Inside we got Dr. Nefario. and each figure comes with a stand because they can't stand on their own. Dr. Nefario is about 2" tall. These are cool to get and great if you're lacking space.

Uglycon at Giant Robot

Josh Herbolsheimer at Grass Hut This Thursday!!!

Josh Herbolsheimer will be having a solo show at Grass Hut this coming Thursday, June 6th. Josh will have paintings as well as custom toys. Most of you know that Josh works at Super7 and is the creator of Earth Wolf that was produced by Medicom, Rose Vampire, Rose Vampire DX, Micro Rose Vampire, Casket Cruiser, Fossilla & Caveman Dinosaur produced by Super7. Josh is a really nice, down to earth guy. Make sure to stop by Grass Hut and meet Josh in person while checking out his awesome paintings & custom toys.

Since everyone has announced the new Super7 x Josh Herbolsheimer figure "Caveman Dinosaur" as one of the new sculpts revealed from this years' Super7 Lucky Bags, we took Caveman Dinosaur out into the wild to give you some better views of this highly detailed sculpt! 

Can't wait to see the first colored release! If we're lucky maybe he'll make an appearance at SDCC!

Weekend POP! Pickups!

Nothing like adding new toys to the collection! It's been a pretty great week! This weekend, picked up a couple of new POP! figures.

Yessssss! Despicable Me 2's Evil Minion was picked up over the weekend but looks like the rest of the Despicable Me 2 figures will be joining him soon. Wall-E has been a want for quite a while but have been waiting for the right time to pick him up.

Funko's POP! Disney Series 5

Funko will be releasing Series 5 of their Disney POP! Figure on June 27th. Looking forward to the UP! POP!s. The Disney Series 5 POP!s consists of Carl, Russell, Merida, Mary Poppins, Baloo, King Louie, Genie, Jafar, Jasmine, Alice, Dumbo & Rocketeer. 

DC Collectibles' SDCC 2013 Exclusives

DC Collectibles announced their SDCC 2013 Exclusives a few weeks ago but totally spaced on posting this up! If you haven't seen or heard about their exclusives yet then this isn't old news to you.

First up is Aardman's Superman Action Figure. 

"Designed by Rich Webber and sculpted by Phil Ramirez. Created by Aardman, the British brains behind “WALLACE AND GROMIT,” is their own unique take on the Man of Steel. Second Exclusive Announced is three-pack of Super Best Friends Forever Action Figures.

Funko's Watchmen POP! & Disney Mini Blox Release

Funko announced that The Watchmen POP! Rorschach & Dr. Manhattan will be released on June 20th!

 

They will also be releasing The Mini Blox 2-Packs featuring Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck which will be released on June 27th.

Uglydoll x Universal Studios Monsters Collaboration???

David Horvath (Uglydoll Creator) revealed these images on his Google+ page & Skullbrain showing various images of Uglydolls as Universal Studios Monsters. The first picture shows a tiny vinyl figure which also looks to be an Uglydoll as the Creature from The Black Lagoon. The top 3 pictures were taken at Universal Studios in their back lot (where they film their shows/movies/commercials etc...). The second picture shows Tray as the Bride of Frankenstein & Wedgehead as Frankenstein. The third picture shows Vampire Icebat. Finally the 4th picture shows the tag/packaging of these upcoming Uglydolls in collaboration with Universal (Universal Studios). Not sure if these will be exclusive to only Universal Studios Theme Parks but hopefully we will know shortly because these are just too awesome!!!!
