Funkoville at SDCC 2023 & Exclusives

Funko Brings the Fun Through All-New ‘Shop’ Experiences and Con Exclusives Across Funko, Funko Games, Loungefly, Mondo and More!!! Funkoville (Booth 5341) will be available for all registered SDCC attendees from July 19 through July 23.

Fans will be able to journey through the streets of “Funkoville” to discover new interactive experiences, brand storefronts and more in the “funnest city in the USA!” Fan-favorite shops,including a donut shop, bowling alley, Loungefly boutique and Mondo gas station will welcome fans and serve as the go-to destination for new and exclusive pop culture collectibles. Funko will also offer fans the coolest Con exclusives from beloved lines on-site and via Funko.com, FunkoGames.com, Loungefly.com, and Mondoshop.com.

A new addition to Funkoville, the Blockbuster Rewind video store, allows fans to time travel to the ‘90s and relive the nostalgic experience of visiting their neighborhood’s local video store as they browse and purchase the company’s new, innovative collectibles based on iconic films. The throwback experience showcases the first collection of the new VHS-themed collectibles in collaboration with Blockbuster.

Here's Funko's Wondercon 2023 Exclusives. If you are attending the show, you need to sign up in the Wondercon 2023 Exclusives Portal for a chance to purchase exclusives at the show. If you don't get selected most of these will be available through shared retailers. See pic below for USA retailers. Other countries, you can see them via Funko here.

San Jose Super Toy, Comic and Collectibles Show Recap

This past weekend was the San Jose Super Toy, Comic & Collectibles Show. The weather was rainy but come rain or shine and it didn't stop people from coming to the show to look for toys and collectibles. The lines were long as usual and they got people moving in as fast as they could to get them out of the rain. Early Bird shoppers were able to get in 2 hours before the general admission shoppers. If you had pre-purchased tickets the line was very short and you got in very quick. The show is much bigger than what we took pics of so here's a little taste of what's at the show.

Two Thumbs Up for Marvel Collector Corps Avengers: Age of Ultron Debut Box

Another Subscription? Seems like there's so many different subscription boxes out now. We were a bit skeptical on signing up for the Marvel Collector Corps which is powered by Funko in collaboration with Marvel. First the good news is that this subscription is not monthly but bi-monthly and because it's Marvel, there will be a theme for each box and the April Debut box is Avengers: Age of Ultron. Forgot to also say that this arrived on National Superhero Day and before the Avengers: Age of Ultron Movie comes out in Theaters which was great timing!

The next box coming out in June will be Ant-Man Themed. With shipping costs & tax the box costs a bit over $30.The box is pretty big and bulky. Love the shipping box graphics. More pics of the box below as well as a pictoral unboxing.

Domo Ghostbusters POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko decided to put together Domo with the Ghostbusters and this is what they came up with. These are pretty cool! The only downside is that these won't be available until February of next year. Domo Ghostbuster, Domo Slimer and Stay Domo are definitely a must have.

Funko POP! TV Sharknado & Arrested Development

Funko announced that the Sharknado POP! will coming out in June just in time for Sharknado 2 which will premiere on July 30th on Syfy.

Arrested Development POP! vinyl figures will coming out in June and there's also a chase POP! that was announced as well.

DIY POP! Vinyls

These were first released at the Emerald City Comic Con and Funko announced that you can get your own DIY POP! in May if you weren't able to get these at ECCC. These should be at your favorite Funko Retailer.

Beauty & The Beast Series 2 POP!

Funko announced Series 2 of the Beauty & The Beast POP! Vinyl Figures. Series 2 consists of Peasant Belle, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts & Chip and Lumiere. Will be available in June!

Hanna-Barbera POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko will be releasing Hanna-Barbera POP! vinyl figures and the first 4 announced for release is Fred Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Frankenstein Jr & The Impossibles and Hong Kong Phooey. These will be released in June.

Maleficent Movie POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko announced the POP! Disney Maleficent & Aurora Vinyl Figures for the upcoming release of Disney's Maleficent movie coming out in late May. These Pop Figures will be released in May.

Funko will be releasing Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy in POP! Vinyl and as Wacky Wobblers. These are scheduled to be released in June before the movie hits theaters August 1st.

Amazon.com Exclusive Unmasked Star-Lord POP! Vinyl Figure

Funko at Emerald City Comicon

Funko announced that they will be at Emerald City Comicon, March 28th-30th and you can find them at booth #117.

They will be debuting their DIY Male & Female POP! Vinyl Figures at the show first and you won't be able to get these again until May. So if you are going to ECCC, you might want to pick up a set of these.

Here's the Funko Exclusive Emerald Green DIY Male & Female POP! Vinyl Figures that you can only get at ECCC. There will only be 300 Emerald Green DIY for the entire show. They will be selling 50 of each male and female everyday so you should stop by their booth first thing when the show opens to make sure you get these.

Funko also announced that they will be auctioning off over 20 customized DIY POP! Vinyl Figures on Ebay by ECCC after the show and all proceeds will benefit the Children's Hospital. The custom POP! Vinyl figures are by Funko Artists and Artists around the world.

Muppets Most Wanted POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko announced that they will be releasing Disney's Muppets Most Wanted POP! Vinyl Figures. This release we will see Sam the Eagle, Swedish Chef, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Animal. The Muppets Most Wanted movie comes out in theaters March 21st.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko announced some new POP! Vinyls for How To Train Your Dragon 2 which will be available in April. Hiccup, Astrid, Stormfly, Hookfang, Barf & Belch and Toothless will be waiting for you to take them home. These will come out before How To Train Your Dragon 2 hits Theaters on June 13th.

Magic: The Gathering Planeswalker POP! Vinyl & Legacy Action Figures

Funko announced their new licensing agreement with Wizards of the Coast to produce Magic: The Gathering Planeswalker Legacy Collection Action Figures and POP! Vinyl Figures.

The first series of POP! Vinyl figures featuring Jace Beleren, Garruk Wildspeaker, Chandra Nalaar, Liliana Vess, Ajani Goldmane and Nissa Revane will be released in April.
