Toronto, ON – June 17, 2015 – When the original Persona 4 video game was released to universal acclaim in 2008, it delighted players with its engaging murder-mystery storyline, relatable characters, engaging gameplay, and stylish graphics. Persona 4 has since become a multimedia juggernaut, with a remake of the original game, three video game spin-offs, two anime adaptations, and a manga adaptation. That manga adaptation has never been available outside of Japan – until now! UDON Entertainment is proud to announce that we will begin publishing the Persona 4 manga series in English later this year!

Diamond Comic Distributors Announces the 4th Annual Halloween ComicFest

This year, there are 21 titles— thirteen full-sized comics and eight mini-comics—available to choose from, including Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers #1, Doctor Strange: The Oath, Donald Duck’s Halloween Scream! #1, Sabrina #1, Skylanders, Yo-Kai Watch and other frightening fun tales.

Exclusive Marvel Minimates Animated Line to Launch at Walgreen’s Stores this Fall!

In the long history of the Marvel Minimates line, there have been waves dedicated to both Marvel comics and Marvel movies, but never the world of Marvel animation. Now, Diamond Select Toys is launching an all-new series of Marvel Minimates, exclusively at Walgreen’s, and it’s all about the Marvel Animated Universe!

Starting September 4, Marvel Minimates Animated Series 1 will be available at Walgreen’s stores nationwide, and will feature Diamond Select’s first cartoon-based Marvel Minimates. The first Minimates ever to be offered at the Walgreen’s chain of stores, this new line will include characters from Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy!

Marvel Minimates Animated Series 1 will feature four different two-packs, each with show-specific packaging design:

·          From Avengers Assemble, that show’s two-pack will pair Hulk and Captain America, with alternate faces for each, plus a shield and an unmasked hairpiece for Steve Rogers.

·          From Guardians of the Galaxy, a two-pack of Star-Lord and Groot will come with a 1-inch micro-figure of Rocket Raccoon, as well as a blaster and a mask for Star-Lord.

·          From Ultimate Spider-Man; a two-pack matching up Spider-Man with Electro will come with an alternate Spidey head, a webline, lightning blasts and an energy base. Plus, Electro glows in the dark!

·          Also from Ultimate Spider-Man, a second two-pack will include Spider-Man 2099 and Agent Venom, with a webline.

Minimates mini-figures stand approximately 2 inches tall, and each features 14 points of articulation. Body parts and accessories are fully interchangeable, so you can trade gear, helmets and even body parts between characters.

Look for the assortment in stores starting on September 4. This is only the first series of the new Marvel Minimates Animated line, so expect to hear more about future assortments as the year progresses!

Hulu Original The Awesomes Coming to San Diego Comic-Con

Hulu brings Seth Meyers’ and Mike Shoemaker’s The Awesomes to San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 11.

The adult animated series will make its third appearance at the convention with a panel featuring Seth Meyers, Mike Shoemaker, Taran Killam, Ike Barinholtz, Paula Pell, Emily Spivey, Dan Mintz and moderator Rob Moynihan of TV Guide. The session will include Q&A with the audience as well as a sneak peek into the third season of the hit series.

Shenmue 3 on Kickstarter

WOW! Finally Shenmue 3 will be made! Fans including myself have waited for 14 years. This was announced on Monday during E3. The Kickstarter was announced at that time and is 77% funded as of this posting. So excited. As a fan of the first 2, I can't wait to see how the story continues. The Kickstarter will end on July 17th and will most likely reach the stretch goals. Estimated delivery of the rewards is December 2017. Go HERE to check it our and make a pledge!
