Spider-Man Swings into Sideshow for Homecoming!

Sideshow announced that they have some new Pre-Orders up for Spider-Man: Homecoming. These figures are by Hot Toys. Here's more details below from Sideshow:

Based on the new battling suit given to Peter Parker by Tony Stark, the figure features a newly developed masked head sculpt with four pairs of interchangeable eye pieces to create numerous combinations of Spider-Man’s expressions. 

 

The figure also features a newly crafted interchangeable head sculpt featuring likeness of Tom Holland, a newly developed specialized body, an expertly tailored and greatly detailed costume, a pair of magnetically attachable web-wings, a variety of spider-web shooting effect parts, and a Spider-Man themed dynamic figure stand.   This Deluxe version exclusively comes with an additional school blazer, a zip-up hoodie, plus a highly detailed Vulture’s helmet!

Funko just announced that Loungefly is now part of the Funko family. Funko acquired Loungefly back in late May of this year. Loungefly will have 2 exclusive bags for SDCC this year. They will be at Booth #5346 which is across from the Funko booth.

Cars 3 Road to the Races Tour

Cars 3 Road to the Races Tour stopped in San Jose, CA. It was a scorching hot day. We arrived at our scheduled VIP time which was pretty early. They were only at this stop for 2 days. This event is obviously geared towards kids but we couldn't resist to see what they were going to have there. The only cool thing for us adults were the life-size Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm. Unfortunately, Cruz Ramirez was not there.

Nintendo Summer of Play Tour 2017

Nintendo Summer of Play 2017 will be making stops across the USA. The only Northern California stop was at the Alameda County Fair during the first 3 days of the fair which is located in Pleasanton, CA. We waited in line for about 30-40 minutes since they didn't open until Noon and the Fair opened at 11am. Luckily, it was still early in the day so the heat was still bearable. There was a huge heatwave that last almost 2 weeks or so.
