Adult Swim Sets Up Camp at SDCC

Adult Swim is headed back to San Diego Comic Con with a unique spin on a favorite summer pastime. Fans can ditch their sleeping bags and pack their enthusiasm for a weekend that is sure to make everyone a happy camper. In addition, Comic Con attendees will get a first look at all-new programming at celebrity-filled panels and enjoy free signings featuring series stars, creators and producers from audience-favorites Robot Chicken, The Venture Bros., FLCL, and Dream Corp LLC. 

Super7 Announces New T-Shirts for SDCC and More Teasers

Super7 revealed more of their SDCC Releases via Instagram with 10 New T-Shirt Designs from GI Joe, Transformers, Mega Man, Rat Fink x Mummy Boy, Robotech, Skeletor, Street Fighter, Transformers and Wing Kong.

They also teased a Plaid Button Down Shirt featuring Skeletor's Havoc Staff embroidered on the shirt as well as a shoe for Universal Monsters. They also showed the Bikkuriman stickers that will come inside the She-Ra & Evil Horde Keshi Surprise blind boxes. Last but not least, they will have some Custom Universal Monsters Soda Pop at their Boodega.

T-Shirt releases will be released at the Super7 booth #4945. You can probably expect the MOTU merchandise to be released at Hordak's Lair and the Universal Monsters releases at the Boodega Pop-Ups at their store in San Diego which is about a 10 minute walk from the convention center.

One:12 Collective Ragnarok Hela

In Marvel Studio’s Thor: Ragnarok, Hela is released from prison following Odin’s death. Planning to rule Asgard and create an empire, the Goddess of Death must first face off against her young brother, Thor, and his team known as ‘The Revengers’.

The One:12 Collective Ragnarok Hela figure captures the malicious intent of the former Asgardian executioner. Nickelodeon Announces SDCC Exclusives!!!

Nickelodeon is bringing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, INVADER ZIM and more to life at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2018 through one-of-a-kind virtual and real-world experiences. Scott Ian Lewis Announces “Death Dreamer” Comic-Con Signing Tour

Lewis’ Successfully Funded Graphic Novel “Death Dreamer” to Premier July 14

July 9, 2018, San Diego, CA: Death Dreamer, the debut graphic novel from writer Scott Ian Lewis, is celebrating a fully funded IndieGoGo campaign, raising over $30,000 for the first volume. Now the singer for the leading death metal band, Carnifex, is ready to take San Diego Comic-Con by storm with multiple signings and a live concert appearance.

“I’m incredibly excited to see Death Dreamer realized and published for the first time,” remarked author Scott Ian Lewis.  “I want to thank all of those who backed this project personally, it’s something I’ve put my whole self into and I’m ready for this story to be experienced.” 

War Machine Marketing Custom Figures for SDCC

War Machine Marketing has teamed up with artists throughout North America to create some of the most intricate, special, limited-edition items.  Though their custom trade is year-round, some incredibly special items are being made for San Diego Comic Con 2018.  From Star Wars characters that have never had their own action figure, to the re-imagining of some of our favorite characters, War Machine Marketing creates pieces SO limited and exclusive that to own one puts the collector in a category all their own. War Machine Marketing is doing 4 different custom items based on the Funko line of figures. Each item will be sold to the winners of a lottery.  One per day.  Tickets will be given out each morning between 9-11am and the drawing will occur at noon each day.  Winners must be at the booth to make the purchase immediately following the drawing.

This is an interesting panel for many collectors! Definitely check it out if you have some time not standing in line buying your exclusive collectible! 

Los Angeles (July 7, 2018) - San Diego Comic-Con offers some of the hottest collectibles of the year. But collecting has a Dark Side, in the form of going broke.

Fear not, for the panel, "Don't Go Broke Collecting" is here to save the day, helping attendees partake in their favorite passion, but in a financially savvy manner. Scheduled for Saturday, 7/21/18 at 5-6:00p.m. in Grand 1 & 2 Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, the panel will provide shopping tips, money-saving tricks, and online ordering hacks.

"We're not going to say, 'Not Buy.' You can buy, and you can collect. But there are ways to save money and even earn money back on your purchase so you don't have to make a Sophie's Choice between buying that awesome collectible and eating," says Ken Choy.

Extreme bargain shopper Choy has amassed nearly 6000 Harry Potter items. 90% of that was bought with some kind of discount or deal. And many times, a combination of deals.

"Coupons, credit card incentives, online shopping portal cash back, discounted gift cards, or all of the above. When you're buying hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of stuff, stacking deals to turn something that's 70% off into something that's 80% off translates into saving a lot of money. Or several good meals," says Choy.

Also on the panel: Freelance editor, columnist, and comic book writer Vince Moore (Total Recall: Life On Mars) will share insight gained from being a comics retailer. Writer and poet Joseph Gordon (Into the Wormhole: A Star Trek Podcast) will prep attendees on battling aisle trolls and spotting fraudulent returns.
