Adult Swim on the Green 2026

Adult Swim on the Green was back for another year of awesomeness at SDCC this year. It was really odd that Adult Swim was the only offsite activation behind the convention center this year. Adult Swim brought in a Rick & Morty ride, mini golf, games etc... along with their nightly panels and screenings. Most days they opened at 1pm except Sunday. Wed was for press/media/vip.

Adult Swim is bringing its signature mix of humor, creativity and controlled chaos to San Diego Comic-Con with exclusive conversations, unforgettable fan experiences, and one-of-a-kind activations. Across four days of programming and events, fans will have multiple opportunities to connect with the shows, talent and offbeat experiences that make Adult Swim unlike anything else.

“Comic-Con is one of our favorite opportunities to get out from behind the screen and spend time with the people who make these shows possible: the fans,” said Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen. “We’ve got great talent, great shows and an alarming number of things for attendees to climb on, play with and become emotionally attached to. Honestly, we’ve created the kind of weekend we’d want to attend ourselves.”

Adult Swim’s Pirate Purrrty on The Green & Panel Events at SDCC

ADULT SWIM RETURNS TO SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON WITH
“PIRATE PURRRTY ON THE GREEN,” MUST-SEE PANEL EVENTS, AND EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOKS AND GIVEAWAYS

Adult Swim to Spotlight “Robot Chicken,” “Rick and Morty,”
“SMILING FRIENDS” and Upcoming Series “Haha, You Clowns”

Adult Swim readies a massive return to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with a packed schedule of live events, can’t-miss panels, and exclusive giveaways celebrating its most beloved and buzzworthy series and anchored by an outdoor “Pirate Purrrty on the Green” fan activation.

“Continuing our long tradition of being on the green at SDCC, last year we introduced a pirate ship motif because we have always viewed ourselves as media pirates,” said Adult Swim President Michael Ouweleen. “We’ve also always used cats in Adult Swim iconography (because they are night creatures?), so this year, obviously, it’s cats and pirates. Expect owls next year, because that’s the other animal we associate ourselves with. Just roll with it. Don’t think too hard. It will be hilarious. Please come hang with us and the best show creators and animation staff in the business.”

DISCOVER the Loot Crate Unboxing

This month's Loot Crate theme is DISCOVER. Check out our unboxing pictures below. Hopefully everyone received their box by now. If not, well, spoilers ahead.

Loot Wear Explore Unpacking

Alright, here's the Loot Wear Explore Unpacking for December 2017. Didn't want to say unboxing since it doesn't come in a box. What do you think?

Anyways, the Loot Wear quality has gone up quite a bit in the past few months. They also have some pretty cool wearables this month.

Loot Crate Animation Unboxing

We were unfortunately in the group of people that had our Loot Crate delayed due to a shortage in T-shirts for this month's crate. So we got our crate in mid-August just as the August Crate was closing. Disappointed that this box took so long to arrive.

Another note is that our (non-regular) mail carrier that delivered this box decided to shove/squish this into our mailbox and slightly crushed our crate but luckily nothing was broken. As a huge animation fan, this box was definitely worth the wait.
