San Diego Comic Con 2019 Recap

This year marked the 50th year that San Diego Comic Con has been around. SDCC was held at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA on July 17th (preview night) to July 21st. Before SDCC started, if you were lucky enough to get a badge to attend, you would be lucky enough to participate in the SDCC Portal for exclusives and signings. This year they gave out an allotment of credits for each day that you had a badge for. From there you would select what you wanted and could use the amount allotted per day for exclusives etc... You could use 1 credit or multiple depending on what you wanted. Entering or using the credit doesn't guarantee that you will win anything no matter how many credits you decide to use. It's still a random lottery draw. A few days after the portal closes, SDCC lets everyone know if they got anything they entered for.

TBS Brings Snowpiercer Bug Bars to Comic-Con® International

WHAT: In anticipation of TBS’s upcoming post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer, the network is partnering with EXO for the first and only time to distribute “Bug Bars” at Comic-Con® International via vending machines. Created by EXO, which is owned by Aspire Food Group, these one-of-a-kind protein bars are made out of cricket protein powder. Fans just enter their email address into the vending machines to receive a bar in addition to a special piece of Snowpiercer content.

John Wick Scavenger Hunt at Comic-Con 2019

Like a plot line right out of John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum, John Wick has been spotted in San Diego and it’s up to you to catch him and claim your bounty.  Follow the tweets from Varèse Sarabande Records (@varesesarabande) that will lead you to three different locations inside and around the convention center on July 18^th.  Collect a John Wick related item from each location and post a photo on social media using the hashtag #HuntForWick.  A random winner will be selected to receive the grand prize on July 19^th.  The first reveal will be on July 11^th with further details about the hunt.  Follow @varesesarabande on Twitter and Instagram for ongoing details.

Mondo's Venom Variant Mondoids SDCC 2019 Exclusive

Mondo will have a variant Venom Mondoids at SDCC 2019. Limited to 500 and will cost $35. This will be on sale starting Wednesday, Preview Night. Mondo will be at Booth #435.
