Toynami will have 3 Wondercon Exclusives this year. They will have an Acid Rain Space Scientist which is North America Exclusive and will cost $40. The second exclusive is actually the debut of the Robotech VF-1 Transformable Veritech Fighter Collection Rick Hunter Volume 1 and will cost $35 at the show. This will be available in stores worldwide this May. The final exclusive is the Hello Sanrio Capsule Diorama 2-Pack which features Pochacco and Chococat and will cost $25. Super Cute! In honor of Robotech’s 30th Anniversary, Toynami is excited to present the Heavy Armor GBP-1 Stealth Fighter 1:100 Scale figure. It is fully articulated just like the classic 1:100 transformables, and can be converted into Fighter, Battloid or Gerwalk modes. The Armored Veritech GBP-1S system allows a single VF-1 fighter to wield the artillery firepower of an entire squadron. The armor is able to withstand several withering barrages from enemy fire, but prevents the Veritech from transforming into fighter mode, and must be jettisoned if the pilot needs maneuverability. *Heavy Armor accessories can only be used in Battloid mode.

Comikaze Expo Loot!

It's not a show unless you have exclusives! Well our exclusive pickups were a bit on the lighter side at this show. There was not much vinyl toys at this show besides Funko POP! Figures. There were quite a few exclusives. The main one that a lot of people were after was the Stan Lee Funko POP! Vinyl Figure. The other Funko POP! Exclusives were at Hot Topic and Fugitive Toys. We picked up a cool poster at the Bongo Booth.

Oh yeah and can't forget the Blanka Hello Kitty Plush Exclusive from Toynami.  

 

Overall the show was good. It's still growing. In one day you could see everything and pretty much get everything you want. There's tons of space between each booth and you aren't shuffling like at SDCC.

Toynami's RISK-OLEUM Limited Edition The Canmans Comikaze Expo Exclusive

Toynami announced that they will have an exclusive RISK Canman for the Comikaze Expo this weekend. Graffiti Artist RISK will be at the Toynami booth on Friday for a limited time signing.

"Celebrated graffiti artist RISK has created "RISK-OLEUM", his version of the vinyl Canman, limited to 200! The Canmans are a series of vinyl figures focused on graffiti artists and the art of collecting spray paint cans.
In a career spanning 30 years, RISK has impacted the evolution of graffiti as an art form in Los Angeles and worldwide. RISK gained major notoriety for his unique style and pushed the limits of graffiti further than any writer in L.A. had before: He was one of the first writers in Southern California to paint freight trains, and he pioneered writing on “heavens,” or freeway overpasses. At the peak of his career he took graffiti from the streets and into the gallery with the launch of the Third Rail series of art shows, and later parlayed the name into the first authentic line of graffiti-inspired clothing.
