New Garden Surprise Collectible Figures from The Nacelle Company

LOS ANGELES, CA – In addition to their recent revival of the Robo Force line, and their announcement of the Legends of Laughter line featuring Joan Rivers, Bill Hicks and Lenny Bruce, The Nacelle Company, the company behind The Toys That Made Us docuseries, are excited to introduce the Garden Surprise collectible figure set to their rapidly growing toy division. 

Garden Surprise is a children’s collectible figure play set with a surprise reveal play pattern that continues beyond the unboxing! The collectible garden-themed figures are revealed by watering one of a variety of mini flower pots that grow magically before your eyes! Kids will love the play of growing and cultivating a surprise garden, as well as the doll-driven imaginary play extension, The Gardeneers!

Great Twins launches Merlion Collectible Figure on Kickstarter

Great Twins has 12 days left on Kickstarter as of this posting to get enough funding for their Merlion Collectible Mini Figure Blind Box Series 1. Each figure stands 2-inches tall. 52Toys has reimagined the archeological discovery of the terracotta army with modern weapons and military accessories. The pottery sculptures that inspired this Candy Box trading figure series where buried with the first emperor of China as protection in the afterlife.

The series is offered in both the traditional terracotta tan and toy soldier army green. The plastic figures are super detailed with a paint was that really makes them look weathered. Overall a super fun series to collect, and if you get doubles it's ok as they look better in groups.

52Toys Kirin Billy Blind Box Review

52Toys has created miniature versions of the popular Kirin Billy soft vinyl toy as part of their Candy Box series of blind boxes trading figures. The character is a juxtaposition of a demonic rockabilly mascot-styled character riding a rocking horse kirin (a mythical Chinese unicorn of sorts.) The original soft vinyl toy was created by Chairman of Purple Toy/ Kiyokawa. The blind boxed figures themselves are very high quality soft vinyl with simple sprays on pastel colored base paint and detailed paint applications on the face. The result is a detailed mini version of the original that will fit nicely in your pocket and be ready for spontaneous adventures with you!

Superplastic just launched their JANKY Limited Edition Art Toys on Kickstarter. Superplastic is a new company founded by Paul Budnitz (founder of Kidrobot) and artist Huck Gee. They have already surpassed their goal. There are many artists who have contributed to the first series. Lots of different pledge rewards as well as add-ons. They have blind box figures which stand about 3" tall, an 8" SuperJanky and a 9" Maximillian Ca$h vinyl figure. Also if you have the space and money, you can also get a 4-Foot Tall JANKY. Dreams brings Sonny Angel and Smiski to Toyfair!

Dreams, makers of Sonny Angel, Smiski and more had a lovely and informative booth at Toyfair. 

The Cable Bites series are little animals that attach tobthe weak point of the iPhone cable that tends to wear out, strengthening it and making it super kawaii! With so many exotic animals ans marine life to choose from, there has bound to be something for everyone. 

Newly unveiled was the limited edition Easter series. Sadly they will have to remain a mystery for a few more weeks until their release, as photos weren't allowed. 

Dreams also brought along their fun bath toy line. Many feature color shifting led lights that activate when they make contact with water. Great for small children or kids at heart who love a relaxing bath. 

Smiski didn't have any new reveals for Toyfair, but Dreams brought the whole series for display. They representative explained that the recently released bath series are popular because of how important bath culture is in Japan. 

Dreams brought a wonderful showing of its products, and were one of the most informative booths at Toyfair, really taking the time to answer questions.
