Lunartik Launches The Big Licker Vinyl Art Toy Project on Kickstarter

Lunartik aka Matt Jones just launched The Big Licker Vinyl Art Toy Project on Kickstarter. What is the Big Licker?

"The Big Licker stands 12" long, and will be produced in vinyl plastic (roto-casting + injection moulding). It will have a mat grey body (shell) and stand on 4 mat finished legs. Most importantly it will have a big red glossy tongue as the Classic Version."

The "Classic" Version which has the red painted tongue will be limited to 150 pieces and will be signed & numbered by Matt. There is also a DIY White version which is limited to 120 pieces. If you choose the Big Licker - Big Bundle Pack which is £145 / $224usd you will get the Classic, DIY and a Hand Doodled Big Licker by Matt Jones.

Funko Announces Official Star Wars Subscription Box - Smuggler's Bounty

Funko announces the Official Star War Smuggler's Bounty Subscription Box. Just like Collector Corps which caters to all things Marvel, this subscription will have all Star Wars related items. If you are fan or collector of Star Wars, this is a no brainer to join. You can sign up HERE.

There are 2 types of memberships - Pirate or Boss. The Pirate subscription you can cancel at anytime and will be billed bi-monthly. Better late than never, Super7 finally announced that their 14th Anniversary Party and Lucky Bag Release will take place on Saturday, September 26th at 7PM at both of their location in San Francisco and San Diego. There will be 2 different sizes of the Lucky Bag this year - Small Bag (3 Figures) $130 or Large Bag (6 Figures) $270. If you can't make it to Super7's retail stores for their party/release these will also go up for sale at super7store.com the same night at 8PM.

AMC released today the official key art for “The Walking Dead” Season 6." The series, returns on Sunday, October 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with a 90-minute premiere episode.

Toy Art Gallery's "Famous Last Words" Farewell Group Show

Toy Art Gallery presents FAMOUS LAST WORDS, a group show featuring Izumonster, Joseph Harmon, Kikkake Toy, Martin Ontiveros, Miscreation Toys, Restore, Pico Pico, T9G, and Uamou. This is the last show that will be held at TAG's current location at 7571 Melrose, Los Angeles, CA. If you are lucky enough to be in the Los Angeles area, please stop by the opening reception tonight, September 5th from 7-10pm.

It's sad to see TAG's retail store is closing. They have had so many amazing shows. Their online store and toy production will continue after their retail store closes.

If you can't make it to the opening reception tonight, this show will run until September 27th, 2015.

STARZ RELEASES INSIDE LOOK VIDEO OF “ASH VS EVIL DEAD”

 

Beverly Hills, Calif., August 25, 2015 – STARZ today released a new inside look video into the world of the highly anticipated Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” (premiering on Saturday, October 31 at 9 PM ET/PT).  This comes on the heels of the official red-band trailer that was digitally released this weekend and features never-before-seen scenes.

The 10-episode first season of the half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer and showrunner. “Ash vs Evil Dead,” is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film The Evil Dead.
