MESHUGGAH Announces Exclusive Signing and Limited-Edition Transformers Collaboration at SDCC 2026

MESHUGGAH members Tomas Haake and Mårten Hagström will make a special appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, signing for fans at the Reigning Phoenix Music/Stern Pinball booth, #4029, on Friday, July 24, at 3:30 p.m. The appearance will coincide with the unveiling of a limited-edition MESHUGGAH x Hasbro’s Transformers T-shirt, created to celebrate four decades of The Transformers: The Movie and three decades of MESHUGGAH’s seminal album Destroy Erase Improve. The collaboration draws inspiration from the transformation of Megatron in the 1986 animated film. After being destroyed in battle by Optimus Prime, Megatron is betrayed by Starscream and cast into space, before being rebuilt by Unicron as Galvatron, a narrative progression that mirrors the title Destroy Erase Improve. “Big machinery. Massive destruction. Reconfiguration. A pretty accurate analogy to our sound, is it not?” says Mårten Hagström.

The Must-Have SDCC Cards to Chase from KAYOU

For trading card collectors and fans alike, the real thrill of San Diego Comic-Con isn't just getting into the show – it's scoring the hottest merch! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizzeria

 

We had the chance to check the TMNT Pizzeria during their grand opening weekend. If you grew up with the TMNT, you need to visit them in Santa Monica, CA. Nostalgia at it's finest. The attention to detail. Free video games. The party van, TGRI, pizza, drinks, Michelangelo, exclusive merch, OG tmnt cartoons. The dining area inside is limited but they have more tables outside.

Minions & Monsters Takeover Carney's Restaurant in Los Angeles

So Cal has been getting a lot of great movie promotions. We were in LA and decide to check out the Minions & Monsters installation at Carney's on Sunset Blvd. Carney's has been in this location since the 1970s and have been serving up their original burgers and hot dogs. The restaurant is located inside a converted Union Pacific railroad car. Really awesome marketing and the employees dressed up as minions. 

ISLA MONSTRO UNLEASHES ON SAN DIEGO COMIC-CON

Abyssmal Entertainment and The Nacelle Company are proud to announce that the new adult animated sci-fi comedy film ISLA MONSTRO will have a presence at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con International. The film was recently released streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play and more June 30th. 

Weirder Together: Meow Wolf + Titmouse Panel at SDCC 2026

 

This collaboration really piqued our interest. Have you ever been to Omega Mart by Meow Wolf in Las Vegas or their other locations in Santa Fe, Denver, Grapevine or Houston? Combine that with Titmouse which is the animation studio behind The Venture Bros, Big Mouth, Beavis and Butt-head etc... This panel will have some reveals of what to expect for their Los Angeles Exhibition which will be opening later this year. We have been to Omega Mart and the immersive installations are incredible with so much attention to detail. We are very excited about this collaboration!

Heavy Metal and Genseven Creations are excited to announce their joint presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 at Exhibitor Booth #4804. Joining us to meet fans are artists Olivia De Berardinis (aka Olivia), JOK, writer Josh Sky and other notables including the creative team of Zac Atkinson, Allen Ling. John " Jar" Rodriguez and Jeremiah Lambert that produced "The Rescuer".

Hulu's Animayhem and Percy Jackson and The Olympians activations are back again for San Diego Comic Con 2026. Both offsite are known to be some of the best activations in previous years. Percy Jackson was so popular last year, that the line was capped before it opened. People waited hours in advance of when it opened each day. The lines for Animayhem can get really long too and the wait can take hours. If you're a fan of the animated shows Futurama and King of the Hill, it's worth the wait especially since there will be themed food and drinks and if it's like the previous year some cool themed swag.

Sebastian Bach to appear at "The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Concert"

 

Reigning Phoenix Music and Hasbro are pleased to announce that the legendary Sebastian Bach will participate in the THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 40th Anniversary Celebration of Life Concert. The concert is a special live event taking place Thursday, July 23, at The House of Blues San Diego during Comic-Con week. The show is part of Hasbro’s “Apology Tour,” a playful, year-long campaign celebrating the 40th anniversary of THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE and acknowledging the moment fans still haven’t quite recovered from.

The comic's official publication date is August 18, 2026, but Comic-Con attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to get their hands on it before its public release.
