D23 On The Road’s Home Alone 35th Anniversary San Francisco

Happy New Year! We are starting off 2026 with our first event coverage of the year. We attended the last stop of D23 On The Road’s Home Alone 35th Anniversary in San Francisco, CA at the AMC Kabuki Theater in Japantown on Saturday, Jan 3, 2026. There were 2 different times for the event which was 11:30am and 3:00pm. After we checked in and got our tickets scanned we received an event credential which was in the shape of an ornament that says Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal and it can be used as an ornament too. As we walked inside, D23 staff members were handing out decorative D23 tote bags which had very useful items inside.

As we walked in through the theater lobby, we were greeted with 2 Home Alone banners featuring The Wet Bandits and Kevin. There was also a photo op which we did not get a picture of since other people were getting their pictures taken. We headed up the stairs to see a line for the concession. Restrooms were close by and the theater room that was used was on it's own side of the building so it's a great place for private events. There was also one more photo op which had a background of the Home Alone house, plane and The Wet Bandits' van.

Super7 Peanuts Holiday Fun! Fun! Vinyl Figures

Super7 originally released their Peanuts Holiday Fun! Fun! Vinyl figures via Walmart as their exclusive. Our local Walmarts sucked and never got them. Their online store had most of them out of stock but a couple of weeks ago Super7 added them to their online store so we gladly snatched these up. Most if not all are still available as of this posting. They are 5-inches tall. Retail is $20 each or you can purchase the set of 6 for $120 via Super7’s online store.

Here’s all 6 figures out of their boxes. Really cute and affordable.

Here's more pictures from DesignerCon 2025 HERE

Kaijufornia Vol. 2 Recap

Kaijufornia Vol.2 took place on September 27th, 2025 at Bear Cave CCG in Northridge, CA. We were in So Cal and decided to check it out while we were down there. We were unable to attend last year's show. It was a chill event with a small group of local toy makers such as The Beast is Back, Uh-Oh Toys, Secret Handshake Toys and more. If you are in So Cal, this is a show that you should attend. Easy to get what you want with minimal crowds and lines. No date has been announced for next year yet but we will keep you posted when we find out. In the meantime, check out our pics above for a slideshow of what you missed.

LA Comic Con 2025 Recap

LA Comic Con was held September 26-28, 2025 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. We haven't been back in quite a few years. The show really has expanded using different halls for the artist alley, Horror Zone, Akiba Station and the main hall with a variety of exhibitors such as Refreshment Toy, Saturday Morning Cards, Dave & Busters and many more. One bit of advice is that if you need to park your car in one of the convention center parking lots, you really need to arrive early. Finding a parking lot with available space can be very hard. There are third party parking lots but note that they charge more than the convention center parking and even raise the price throughout the morning when they know people are desperate for parking.

This show has really grown over the years and have a lot of different exhibitors compared to other shows such as Door Dash with their Giant Door Dash Bag giving out surprise gifts. You don't know what they will give you. Some people won iPads, Funko pops, external hard drive, gaming controllers, gift cards etc...or you can get a dud like a twinkie which someone did get and was not happy after having to wait in line. The wait in line did take a long time. Maruchan was also exhibiting at LACC and they had free sample flights of their noodles. The line for that was super long too. Yakult and Kopiko were there giving out free samples. If you live in the LA or So Cal area and haven't experienced LACC, you should. If you are local, rideshare would be your best bet to avoid parking headaches. Thank you LACC for inviting us. As of this posting, the dates for next year's LA Comic Con has not been announced yet. Check out our photo coverage above to see what you missed out on this year.

USH Halloween Horror Nights Opening Night 2025

We went to the opening night for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. Tickets were sold out for the night as well as the express pass. This year there are 8 haunted houses, 4 scare zones, 2 shows, Terror Tram and various themed food/drinks and merch. We made it through all 8 haunted houses, scare zones and Terror Tram. Tried a few themed food and drinks and bought some HHN merch. We did all of this with the express pass. The only thing we did not do was watch Chainsaw Man at the Dreamworks Theater which was new this year. We skipped The Purge show since we had already seen it a couple years prior.

Chuck’s Arcade

Chuck’s Arcade for adults and kids too but without the food and drinks. Most games are geared towards adults. We visited their newest location that just opened at the Brea Mall in Brea, CA. It’s located on the 2nd floor of the mall and is really close to the food court. They have a lot of claw machines. They have some old school games and new games. If you don’t have enough points to redeem for the prize you want they had a section where you can purchase prizes.

SDCC 2025 Final Recap

Hank Hill walking around outside the King of the Hill Offsite

SDCC 2025 was just as epic as previous years. This year we focused on a lot of the offsite activation that were held all around the convention center and throughout the Gaslamp / downtown SD area. The exhibition hall is huge every year. Most companies that have exclusives have their own rules/handling of how their exclusives will be sold. All of that is usually announced through their socials or website. The big ones that attracts the biggest fan base with highly sought after exclusives were Mattel, Funko, Pop Mart, 100% Soft, UCC Distributing and more.

One of the most epic things we saw inside the exhibit hall this year was at the LEGO booth! They built SDCC, convention center and booths!!!

Below is our slideshow that we posted on our Instagram account.

FX Alien Earth Prodigy Corp, The Wreckage & The Wreckage: Code Red Activations at SDCC 2025

FX Prodigy Corp Drop Site, The Wreckage and The Wreckage: Code Red…. 3 different activations by FX. FX Prodigy Corp Drop Site was where fans can sign up to be an FX Insider to claim exclusive giveaways and first look at Alien: Earth VR Experience.

The Wreckage lets fans explore the mysterious debris of the USCSS Maginot and features various interactive thrills and alien specimens. Also on site is the special collab vending machine with Chain where the you are given an Alien Earth Hyper Fizz drink.

If you did not get to experience The Wreckage: Code Red you missed out big time. This was the best activation out of all of the ones we attended this year at comic con. The actors were so good and very in character. It was engaging from start to finish. Definitely worth the wait in line.

Check out our pics below:

These were given out at the drop site activation. There's a better pic of this at the end of the post.

Once we finished the activation we were given a pin and a can of the Alien Earth Drink collab with Chain.
