Designer Con 2012 Recap

Designer Con 2012 - WoW! Double the size from last year. More vendors, bigger booths, exclusives, customs etc... There were no clogging of aisles except if you were at Paul Kaiju's booth during his lottery to be able to purchase his toys. Lines were long at Circus Posterus as well as the Loyal Subjects booth. The D-Con organizers did a great job. Can't wait for next year!!!

On the Way to Designer Con, had to stop by TAG ( Toy Art Gallery) to check out their current show Vivid Lucid Dream featuring Sofubi from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore (MVH), Frenzy Bros & Siccaluna. All the pieces were awesome and if you wanted any chance at a MVH piece you needed to be there opening night where the majority of the pieces were purchased. As of this post, all MVH Sofubi is SOLD OUT but there are still some Frenzy Bros & Siccaluna Sofubi pieces still available HERE.

TAG also had massive fiberglass pieces of Paul Kaiju's Boss Carrion & T9G's Rangeas in their store as well as a bunch of other huge fiberglass pieces.

Max Toy Co.'s Kaiju Eyezon 5th Anniversary Show at Double Punch This Saturday

Max Toy Co. / Mark Nagata's Kaiju Eyezon 5th Anniversary Show is this coming Saturday, November 3rd at Double Punch in San Francisco.

Along with Mark Nagata in attendance, fellow artists Todd Robertson and Will Long. The show features many artists customizing Standard, Mini, Micro and Neo Eyezons plus original takes on the Eyezon character.

Above pic is just a little sample of what will be there. Pretty sure we won't be back in time for the show opening but will check out the show when we get back as we'll be at Designer Con that day.

Mike Sutfin Battle Rats for Creeping Nomadic

Mike Sutfin will be have his new Battle Rat figures at his show tonight Creeping Nomadic which also features Koji Harmon (aka Cometdebris) at Grass Hut tonight. There will be lots of new works by both artists tonight. Any unsold items at the show tonight will be up in Grass Hut's online store.

Buff Monster's Custom Painted Mishka Bootleg Figures for Designer Con

Buff Monster did a few custom painted Bootleg figures. Edition of 5. These will be at the Mishka booth #507 at Designer Con this Saturday for $350.

Pre-Order MVH x Skinner's Krawluss

MVH x Skinner are now taking Pre-orders for their collaboration figure Krawluss. Krawluss was sculpted by Scott Wetterschneider at Shinbone Creative. There are 2 Pre-order options. Pre-orders will stay open for about a month unless they hit a specific number.

After the pre-orders are closed, they will send the quantity ordered to the factory to be made so depending on how fast the production is, it can take 6-8 months. MVH will always keep you up to date.

Pre-Order Option #1 Krawluss - $150 Order HERE.( Shipping costs will be invoiced separately so make sure when you pay that you have the correct Paypal email address so they can send you a shipping invoice.)

In addition the the figure you will also receive an 8.5 x 11 inch silk screen print signed by myself and Skinner of the original artwork that both me and Skinner drew up to create this figure !!

If you chose, since the Ollies will be cast MUCH sooner than the Krawluss we will be able to send these to you ASAP. If you so chose, just pay the shipping and the Ollie will go out once in hand. These will be about 2-3 moths tops. This shipping will be separate from when the Krawluss figure is in hand, please note that. But Also note that final shipping once the Krawluss figure goes out will be about Half of whats listed. Basically your splitting the shipping in half and getting 1 figure early. Then paying the other half once the other figure is done and ready to go out. Got it ?
