Marvel Unveils Action-Packed Line-Up of Exclusive Collectibles at SDCC 2013

Action Figures, Vinyl Figurines and Other Limited-Edition Products Featuring Renowned Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Wolverine and Others to Debut At Pre-Eminent Pop Culture Event

New York (July 1, 2013) – Marvel Entertainment, LLC will once again give fans another reason to head to the comic event of the year – Comic-Con International: San Diego – with a lineup of one-of-a-kind exclusives that will be available at the show for the first time. Marvel, along with partners Hasbro, Diamond Select, Gentle Giant, and Huckleberry have created a stellar line-up of limited edition collectibles featuring some of Marvel’s biggest icons. A few of the key Comic-Con product unveilings include the Marvel Universe Deadpool Corps Special Edition figure set, three variant editions of the “Iron Man 3” Iron Man Chara-Bricks 7” vinyl and Marvel Minimates Wolverine Saga box set. Some of the Comic-Con exclusives will be available in limited supply following the 4-day pop culture extravaganza.

Pre-Order Comic-Con 2013 Official T-Shirts

If you're going to SDCC this year, Comic-Con has decided to offer pre-orders this year on their official Comic-Con T-shirts. You have to be an attendee going to SDCC in order to pre-order these and pick them up at the show. These cannot be shipped to you. The lines last year were really long so save some time and pre-order these now as they will be guaranteed for the sizes that you want. Pre-Order them HERE.

NECA's Kick Ass 2 Uncensored Figures SDCC 2013 Exclusive

NECA will also be releasing these Kick Ass 2 Uncensored figures as their SDCC 2013 Exclusives. Don't worry about the censored area as those won't be on the packaging when you get them at the show. The Uncensored figures will only be sold at SDCC. When the regular series hits store all the names will be abbreviated.

"Hit Girl, Kick-Ass and Motherf*cker figures early and in their Rated-R editions, Comic-Con is the place to be. We’re at Booth #3145 all weekend long, and we’re selling the three individually packaged figures as a set for $75."

Gargamel x Mitari Obake Mitari-Chan Release at SDCC 2013

Gargamel x Mitari will be releasing this Obake Mitari-Chan at SDCC 2013. They'll be at Booth #5244.

Super7's Fossilla "Raids Again" SDCC 2013 Exclusive

Super7 will be releasing Joshua Herbolsheimer's Fossilla "Raids Again" Vinyl Figure at SDCC 2013.

"Be it ancient asteroids, impossible aging, or aerobic decomposition, you can’t keep a good kaiju down! Clear the streets (and you toy shelf) as FOSSILLA RAIDS AGAIN! Joshua Herbolsheimer’s part-dino, part-skeleton, part-sludge, all-kaiju creation is cast in goopy green vinyl and decorated black, violet, and metallic purple sprays along with blood red guts and bleached bones. This popular prehistoric personality is a member of the DESTROY ALL KAIJU! line of standard-sized (approximately 9” tall) vintage-inspired vinyl figures, and is able to be posed at the neck, shoulders, and thunderous thighs."

Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi Omen Blink by Coarse SDCC 2013 Exclusive

Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi will be releasing Coarse's 3.5" Omen Blink  "Hoot" & "Hush" at SDCC 2013."

"After the last rays of the sun dip behind the forest’s edge, two pairs of eyes burst open. Hoot and Hush warily stand together keeping watch over a nest of unhatched eggs. Gazing up into the night, they wait in silence until the voice of the Void breaks through the darkness and orders them where to go."

Each 3.5" tall vinyl figure is an edition of 800 pieces and will be available at SDCC beginning on Preview Night (Wednesday, July 17) for $14 each (sales tax included). Limit 2 of each style per customer per day.*

Turning your artwork into a three-dimensional, manufactured figure is a lengthy but rewarding process. Learn from experience how to work with sculptors, designers, and prototype developers to develop a toy of your very own. Through the process, you’ll think of your character in completely different ways as you wrestle with the limits of manufacturing technologies, the spectrum of production methods, factory minimums, and your own finances. It’s challenging, but it is possible. Meet our panel of toymakers and find out how close you are to… the third dimension!
