All Elite Wrestling Gets the Diamond Select Toys Treatment in 2022

HUNT VALLEY, MD (July 1, 2022)  – Diamond Select Toys (DST) has long offered “the Best of All Worlds,” but there is one world to which they have never ventured - the world of professional wrestling.  DST is going All Elite, bringing the world-class talent of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) together in a new line of collectibles.

Starting this summer, DST will offer a variety of products based on the stars of AEW, including CM Punk, Sting, Chris Jericho, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., Jon Moxley and many more.  Categories will include two-inch Minimates poseable figures, four-inch Vinimates vinyl figures, 10-inch Gallery Diorama PVC sculptures and 11-inch Premier Collection statues.

Apple TV+ to Bring Severance, For All Mankind, See, Invasion, Foundation and Mythic Quest to SDCC

Apple TV+ today revealed a fan-favorite lineup of panels of its celebrated original series, marking its debut at the world’s largest fan-based convention, San Diego Comic-Con International. The panels will feature cast and creative teams from the hit thriller “Severance,” lauded alternate-reality series “For All Mankind” the acclaimed workplace comedy “Mythic Quest,” plus a not-to-be-missed panel featuring some of today’s greatest storytellers from “See,” “Invasion,” “Foundation” and “For All Mankind” to share their world-building insights with fans. 

In addition to these must-see panels, attendees will have the opportunity - if they dare - to get “severed” as they immerse themselves in the world of Lumon Industries at an innovative “Severance” installation at the Hard Rock Hotel. The experience will take new Lumon employees through their first day on the severed floor where all of their senses will be required if they hope to be reunited with their ‘outtie.’ The experience is created in partnership with Ben Stiller and the show producers.

San Diego Comic-Con International is set to take place from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24. Dates, times and locations for all panels will be announced closer to the event.

William Shatner Documentary + SDCC 2022 Hall H Panel

 Legion M and Exhibit A Pictures are announcing a new documentary directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, in which William Shatner takes off the countless masks he's worn throughout his storied career, to reveal the man behind one of the most recognizable faces in the world.

In truly unique fashion, Legion M, the world's first fan-owned entertainment company, is allowing fans to invest directly in the project. The G.I. Joe team has officially revealed the very first Classified Series HasLab featuring the G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank. During today’s YO JOE! JUNE Fanstream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel, the team showed off the new addition to the Classified Series with a fun animated video featuring the Cobra Commander.

Sideshow returns to San Diego Comic Con 2022

SIDESHOW ANNOUNCE THEIR RETURN TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON WITH A HYBRID EVENT FEATURING ONLINE PRODUCT REVEALS AND MORE!

 

The Con is back on! As fans celebrate the return of San Diego Comic Con, pop culture collectibles giants Sideshow have unveiled plans for a hybrid event that combines their much-loved SDCC booth experience with an online “Sideshow Con” to create weeks of geeky content! 

 

Over the last few years, Sideshow has pioneered a unique event format that combined live streamed content, with virtual tours of a physical art gallery, games, contests, and VR components – all with the aim of keeping the convention spirit alive during the pandemic.  

 

As pop culture fandom slowly returns to live-events Sideshow has announced that they will not be abandoning the online side of their con planning. Rather, they will be hosting a web-based "Sideshow Con" the week before the physical event – followed immediately by an in-person appearance at SDCC! 

 

Sideshow’s PR Manager, Andy Smith, said:

 

“There is a magic and an energy at the heart of these physical events, and it was our aim from the outset to capture at least a small part of that vibe. Sideshow Con is as much a celebration as it is a showcase. For us, this is about community and fandom as well as the art. I think that’s what made it work so well.

Dragon Ball Super Film Partners and Crunchyroll Presents Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO Panel

Crunchyroll, the global leader in bringing the ultimate anime experience to fans in over 200 countries and territories, has announced its plans to present a huge panel and booth for Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21-24 to support the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, in North American theaters August 19.

 

Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO takes center stage at the Convention Center on Friday, with a special guest of honor from Japan, Toshio Furukawa, the voice actor for Piccolo and a first-look at the movie – with approximately the first 20 minutes screened exclusively for the SDCC audience in Hall H!

 

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation will also produce a one-of-a-kind experience at the Crunchyroll Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO-themed booth (Booth #4135) inspired to include a replica of Piccolo's House as shown in the film.
