NY Toy Fair Sneak Peek: DC, Marvel, Kingdom Hearts, Bruce Lee and More!

It’s that magical time of year, when toy companies from around the world descend on New York City for the International Toy Fair! Pictures of the newest toys splatter across the Interwebs, and we all get to go gaga over products that may not see the light for many months. Well, Diamond Select Toys is one of those companies, and here are some images of products that will be on display, and are currently up for pre-order, but won’t hit stores until summer or fall. Exclusive Kingdom Hearts Action Figures From DST is Now at Walgreens

Since the start of the Kingdom Hearts action figure line by Diamond Select Toys, Walgreens has carried their own single-pack assortments, each with an exclusive figure. Now, with the third Kingdom Hearts game imminent, a new assortment of figures has arrived!

Series 2.5, available exclusively at Walgreens, features a figure of hero Sora in his Drive Form, a unique color scheme exclusive to this assortment. Also in the series are exclusive single packs of a Dusk -- one of the Heartless Nobodies -- and hero Donald Duck with side characters Chip and Dale, Disney’s lovable chipmunks.

Previous exclusives have included Pluto (Series 1), Final Form Sora (Series 1.5), Birth By Sleep Mickey (Series 1.5) and Timeless River Sora (Series 2).

Kingdom Hearts Select Action Figures Hit Comic Shops This Week

It’s the 15^th anniversary of the popular Kingdom Hearts game franchise, in which young hero Sora teams up with classic Disney characters to save his world and others. Now, with a new installment of the game set for 2018, Diamond Select Toys is rolling out their line of action figures based on the previous installments! Series 1 hits comic shops and specialty stores this week, but there are more exclusive packaging and character variations coming to other retailers in the coming weeks! Read on for details!

This week, comic shops, specialty stores and online retailers will receive two three-packs in Select-style packaging, with larger blisters and side panels. 

• Sora with Kingdom Key, Dusk with articulated support stand, and a Soldier

Sora, Dusk and Mickey feature a full range of articulation, while Axel features upper-body articulation and the Shadow and Soldier each have three points of articulation.
