Grody Shogun Seagool for NYCC 2012

Mutant Vinyl Hardcore for NYCC 2012

MVH is going to be killing it at NYCC this Saturday! Really excited about the Candy Corn Ollie, Mecha Brain & Usirs!!!!! It's Candy Corn madness at NYCC. MVH will be at 3 different Booths. Here's a quick run down on where MVH will be and what they'll have etc... + prices too. Make sure to bring lots of CASH.

MVH will make their 1st stop with Scarecrowoven from 11am-12pm at the Psychic Defense Department Booth #3002.

• "Chest Burster" print - 7 color silk screen prints are printed 18x24 on ivory stock $50.00

• Print and unpainted  "Sludge Head" DX Sludge Demon Set - Limited to only 5 sets and available only at the Con. The ivory vinyl on this is beautiful and has that vintage 70/80's feel ! = $125.00

For those not going to NYCC there will be a painted version being released in November but NYCC attendees will be able to check out the the painted sample.

From 12pm-1pm, MVH will team up with Splurrt as they release pure AWESOMENESS at the Monster Island Booth #3317.

• As well as upcoming previews of the painted runs of DX figures by Kaji San of Blobpus fame, and the "Chest Burster" DX homage with Scarecrowoven.
• And last by not least on display will be the new Sam Heinous Pumpkin head in glow vinyl. Who knows you may just catch a few for sale as well.

Splurrt's Lineup for NYCC 2012

Splurrt will have a heavy hitter of releases for NYCC on Saturday at 12PM. Make sure to stop at the Monster Island Booth #3317 first and pick these up! Make sure to bring Lots of CASH. For now Splurrt will only be accepting CASH.

Super7 will be releasing a new Pocket Baseball Boy Giants Edition release this Thursday, October 11th. This figure will not be sold online and will be sold exclusively at Super7's retail store on Haight St. in San Francisco. $25 each.

"This three-inch tall figure is comprised of a Pearlescent Grey vinyl body and a White vinyl head, with Black & Orange detailing."

If you really want this little guy, you'll need to find a buddy in SF to help get you one.

Toy Havoc's Tri-Valley Comic Book & Collectible Show This Saturday!

Toy Havoc Presents the Tri-Valley Comic Book & Collectible Show at the Alameda Country Fairgrounds This Saturday, October 13th from 9am-4pm. Admission is $5 but if you go to their website there is a coupon for $2 off admission. Parking inside the fairgrounds is $8 but you can find free parking outside the fairgrounds.

District 10's 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Car Show

District 10 is hosting their 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Car Show this Saturday, October 13th 2012 from 11am - 4pm @ New Park Mall. In addition the car show, there will be vendors, raffles, food trucks etc... This time the event will be held at the top level of the parking garage near JC Penneys. All profits/donations will be donated to the www.HERSBreastCancerFoundation.org.

Preview Splurrt's figures for NYCC 2012. WOW! These are awesome! I really like the Diggler with the Cadaver Kid Mask and the Mecha Cadaver Kids. Oh heck, I like them all. I suppose it's a good thing we aren't going to NYCC.

Upcoming Shows This Weekend

This weekend  is going to be really busy. We have NYCC, APE, Tri-Valley Comic & Collectibles Show,  Paul Kaiju & Leecifer Show & District 10's 6th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Car Show.

Starts this Thursday! Wish we were going but hopefully next year. ;)

APE is back at The Concourse in San Francisco this weekend! Lots of Indie artists/comic creators.

Will be out showing our Support. Besides a car show there will be various vendors there as well as food trucks etc...

Local Comic Book & Collectible Show. You can take your time browsing. Lots of older vintage toys as well as newer stuff and you can also find local artists and collectors here as well.

This is going to be a really great show and makes up for not being able to go to NYCC.

Will have more info on the Breast Cancer Awareness show as well as the Toy Havoc show in another post.

Brian Flynn's "This Temporary Moment" Show Recap

Brian Flynn's "This Temporary Moment" Show at Toy Art Gallery on Friday, October 5th recap. The show featured new works including new prints, a huge fiberglass piece, a cool wall tapestry, custom figures, sketches as well as a little retrospective of Super7 figures.

It was a great show and Toy Art Gallery is an awesome store/gallery!
