One:12 Collective Hellboy

From the upcoming Lionsgate film based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy joins the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective Hellboy figure features 2 head portraits capturing the great beast’s unforgiving nature.

Hellboy is outfitted in a removable duster coat. His guns fit neatly into the holsters on his utility belt. The half-demon comes complete with a range of accessories fit for saving the world, including a customized handgun, customized revolver that fits in his gun case, and a horseshoe.

Hellboy, an immensely powerful superhero who works for the government organization Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.), and his closest allies team up to battle an undead sorceress who has the intention of destroying the world.

Steve Aoki's Neon Future Comic Book

Neon Future is set roughly 30 years in the future in an America that has outlawed advanced technology. A civil war is brewing between the Augmented, an oppressed class of people who have chosen to integrate technology into their bodies, and the Authentic, who have not.  The resistance movement “Neon Future” is led by the mysterious Kita Sovee (a character modeled after Steve Aoki), who strives to bring peace, by showing the world a brighter future in harmony with technology.  

The first issue features collectible variant covers designed by Jheremy Raapack (“Injustice: Gods Among Us,” “Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight,” and “Hulk Smash.") Neil Edwards (“The Avengers,” “Superman,” “Spider-Man Season One”), Kim Jung Gi (Marvel “Civil War 2,” Blizzard “Siege of Lordaeron”), and Argentinian visual artist Mau Lencinas.  

The first issue of Neon Future will be released nationwide at retailers and digitally on March 27^th. 

This comic book is the first release from publishing studio Impact Theory which focuses on stories of empowerment.  The studio was created by highly successful entrepreneur Tom Bilyeu, who co-founded the billion dollar company Quest Nutrition before creating Impact Theory.

Diamond Select Toys is Bringing Prototypes and a Panel to C2E2

Diamond Select Toys, currently celebrating its 20^th birthday, is returning once more to Chicago to participate in C2E2, the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo! From Friday, March 22 through Sunday March 24^th, DST will be selling some of their latest releases at Booth 807, showing off upcoming products and even hosting a panel!

DST will bring their full library of in-development prototypes to the show, including items that were seen for the first time at NY Toy Fair in February, and some that have never been seen at all! Marvel, DC, Kingdom Hearts, John Wick, Bruce Lee, Godzilla, Iron Giant, Predator, Castlevania, Westworld, Sonic the Hedgehog and more will be on display, as well as items from Gentle Giant Ltd., so come by the booth to plan out your year of collecting!

And on Friday, at 1:45 PM, DST will host “Diamond Select Toys: The Best of All Worlds” in room S403. Marketing Supervisor Zach Oat and prototype painter Jeff Stephens will discuss upcoming products, engage in a Q&A and give out some door prizes!

The anime is based on the manga and original anime series, and one biggest selling points of the film is the art direction of Osamu Masayama who comes from a long career animating and overseeing animation at Studio Ghibli. His work helps to elevate the animation and artistic style of the film and works nicely with the skills of Masayuki Kojima, best known for his previous directorial role in creating the acclaimed Monster anime series.

Synopsis
