Funko Announces Disney Mystery Minis Series 2 & Who Framed Roger Rabbit POP! Vinyl Figures

Funko Announced Series 2 of the Disney Mystery Minis. These are blind box but the ratios to get each figure are the same. These will be available in July!

Also announced is the Who Framed Roger Rabbit POP! Vinyl Figures featuring Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Judge Doom & Smarty Weasel. These will be available in August!

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

Players will unlock more than 150 unique characters from the DC Comics universe, including members of the Justice League and LEGO big figures such as Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy and many more. Fans of all ages will be able to control their favorite heroes and villains with new gadgets and abilities. Brainiac’s mind controlling abilities and the power of the Lantern rings bring unexpected twists to the classic characters’ personalities.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham also will allow players to explore iconic locations such as the Hall of Justice, the Batcave and the Justice League Watchtower.  They will be able to access Batman’s training modules on the Bat Computer and take part in various challenges, battles and races.

Neca Announces Marvel & DC Scalers 2-Pack SDCC 2014 Exclusives

Neca announced that they will have a Marvel & DC Scalers 2-Pack as a SDCC 2014 Exclusive.

The Marvel 2-Pack will include "Marvels" Spider-Man & Silver Centurion Iron Man. These are 2" mini figures that can grip headphone wires, cables & more.

The DC Comics 2-Pack will include the Black & White versions of Batman & Joker. Both 2-packs will cost $10 each.

The villain is featured in his original blue, grey, and orange body suit with weapons in hand, and also available as a shiny, metallic version. This is the first time that Deathstroke is available as a POP! Figure, and will hit shelves in comic book specialty shops in early July 2014.

Big WOW! ComicFest 2014 Recap

This was our first year attending the Big WOW! ComicFest at the San Jose Convention Center. We were pretty impressed with the show. This definitely fills the void of not having Wondercon. The best things at the show were the Famous Monsters booth, The Batman Museum, The Batmobile, BTTF Deloreon and the Ghostbusters Ecto-1. Boom! Studios & IDW were a couple of comic publishers with a booth at the show. There were tons of Funko POP! and Mystery Mini figures at multiple booths. Psycho Donuts was also there with their interesting donuts and cakepops! They were stationed outside of the exhibit hall. Big WOW! ComicFest was a good show. They had some great panels too. Overall, it was a good, quality show!

May The 4th Be With You Event at Super7 Recap

A bit delayed in getting this up but better late than never. We were at Super7's May The 4th Be With You event. By the time we got there, the event had started. We saw a few stormtroopers crossing the street and making their way to the event as we rolled passed looking for parking. The Stormtroopers were out in force standing guard outside Super7. They were definitely attracting a lot of attention from people walking by, driving by and especially the tour buses that rolled through the streets. Super7 was packed! Always a great event to attend!
