McFARLANE TOYS AND EPIC GAMES PARTNER TO LAUNCH FORTNITE PREMIUM COLLECTIBLE FIGURES AND MORE

TEMPE, ARIZONA, — July 30, 2018 — McFarlane Toys today announced a new partnership with Epic Games to create a range of Fortnite™ premium collectible figures, related accessories and resin statues, in a deal brokered by IMG.
 
The new Fortnite branded collection will feature seven-inch premium figures from the Fortnite franchise and high-end accessories.
 
"The Fortnite brand has taken on global status and continues to grow each day. The game, with its sense of skill and irreverent fun, now has hundreds of character options to choose from, which is a tremendous blueprint for making any successful toy and action figure line,” said Todd McFarlane, CEO and Founder of McFarlane Toys.
 

Mezco's Designer Series Child's Play 3: Talking Pizza Face Chucky

Chucky has been revived! Due to a mishap at the Play Pals’ factory, Chucky has been given a new lease on life and a new opportunity to take over an unsuspecting soul.

The Mezco Designer Series Talking Pizza Face Chucky features an all-new head sculpt, depicting Chucky’s mutilated face after a run in with the Grim Reaper’s scythe in the “Devil’s Lair”.

Just as he did in the films, Chucky has lots to say from his trademark “Hi, I’m Chucky, and I’m your friend till the end!”, to far more sinister phrases.

DISENCHANTMENT at SDCC

From the mind of Matt Groening, comes the 10-episode adult animated comedy fantasy series, Disenchantment. Viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.

TO CELEBRATE MICKEY’S 90TH ANNIVERSARY, DISNEY ANIMATOR MARK HENN CREATED THE PAINTING “SPREADING HAPPINESS AROUND THE WORLD”

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – July 2018 – Mickey Mouse’s new birthday portrait was revealed today at San Diego Comic-Con. Titled “Spreading Happiness Around the World,” the painting by legendary Walt Disney Animation Studios animator Mark Henn honors Mickey’s 90th anniversary. The unveiling of the new work—the latest in a longstanding series of Mickey birthday portraits—took place during the panel “Celebrating 90 Years of Mickey Mouse with D23: The Official Disney Fan Club.”

BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT UNVEILS NERF RIVAL OVERWATCH REAPER WIGHT EDITION BLASTER AT SDCC

Blizzard Entertainment arrived at Comic-Con International: San Diego with a surprise reveal for fans of Overwatch^®: a sneak preview of the NERF RIVAL OVERWATCH REAPER WIGHT EDITION blaster. Designed in the style of Reaper’s signature accessory in Overwatch, the blaster is not only true to the game, but also a fully functional NERF toy.
 
The Wight Reaper Blaster is the first in the series developed in a collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment and the NERF Rival brand to bring the iconic Overwatch accessories to life. Fans of the team-based action game will enjoy custom NERF RIVAL rounds with the Overwatch logo that are specifically colored for each blaster. The blaster will hold eight NERF RIVAL rounds, which it can propel at up to 90 feet per second. It will be equipped with a spring-action mechanism, a ready indicator, and a safety lock.
 
The NERF RIVAL OVERWATCH REAPER WIGHT EDITION blaster will launch in 2019.

Nickelodeon Reveals First-Look Footage of All-New INVADER ZIM: Enter the Florpus TV Movie at SDCC

In INVADER ZIM: Enter The Florpus, ZIM discovers his almighty leaders have no intention of coming to Earth and he loses confidence in his own amazingness for the first time in his amazing life, which is the big break his human nemesis Dib has been waiting for. At some point, GIR rides a tiny donkey, and that’s all anyone should really care about. The 2D-animated TV movie is produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank.

As previously announced, Horvitz and Simons return as fan-favorites ZIM and GIR in INVADER ZIM: Enter The Florpus, alongside Andy Berman as Dib Membrane and Melissa Fahn as Gaz Membrane. Additional voice actors reprising their original series roles include: Wingert and McDonald as the Almighty Tallest Irken leaders; Rodger Bumpass as Professor Membrane, Dib and Gaz’s father; Olivia d’Abo as Tak, ZIM’s Irken nemesis; and Paul Greenberg as Poonchy, one of ZIM and Dib’s human classmates.

INVADER ZIM debuted on Nickelodeon in 2001 and chronicled the efforts of an extraterrestrial named ZIM on a mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race.
