Fandor Goes "American Punk"

Fandor is going "American Punk"

More than music, the anti-establishment movement of Punk crashed onto the scene in the mid-to-late 1970s and spread like wildfire around the world. But it all started in Cleveland, Ohio. The films in AMERICAN PUNK celebrate the sub-culture with insightful rockumentaries of the early Punk scene and narratives made in the height of its popularity.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 10

Probably one of the most anticipated events was Super7's Skeletor's Lair. You needed to obtain a Skeletoken from either Super7 or Mattel. Once you got it, you had to show them your Skeletoken at the door in order to get in. There really was no vacancy on Preview night. The line to get in stretched almost around the whole block. We stopped by on preview night and saw the line but didn't wait as we decided to come back another day.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 9

Another favorite booth that we saw this year was Mondo. They had a lot of cool prototypes of TMNT, Madballs etc... Above is a Casey Jones Mask replica prototype.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 8

We're at part 8 of our SDCC recap features the Bluefin and Bluefin Tamashii Nations. One of the coolest things we saw this year was this Hulkbuster (pic above) by Comicave Studios. They also had a prototype of huge diorama of the Avengers: Age of Ultron on display. We have videos for both. Check out our slideshow and videos below:

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 7

Sideshow's booth always has the one of the best booths at SDCC. Eye Candy all around with so much to see. This year they had a lot of Hot Toys, Star Wars and they brought back the Court of the Dead Exhibition. New this year was the R2ME2 Exhibition which featured customized R2-D2 figures by various artists. Check out our slideshows below:

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 6

Part 6 of our SDCC 2015 recap features PREVIEWS / Diamond Comic Distributors, Multiverse Studio, Action Figure Xpress (AFX), Kotobukiya and NERD HQ.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 5

Here's part 5 of our ongoing SDCC 2015 recap... In this post we have slideshows for WETA, McFarlane Toys, Entertainment Earth and Diamond Select Toys.

WETA has a really nice booth/display set up this year. They had props from the movie Chappie, Lord of the Rings and upcoming films Krampus and Warcraft.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 4

Alright, well to keep things rolling along... here's Gentle Giant, NECA, Mezco & Huckleberry Toys. We weren't able to photograph a lot of things inside SDCC due to overwhelming crowds and lines so you won't see a lot of Mattel, Hasbro or the Star Wars/ Lucas Pavilion.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 3

Oh Funko... The line to buy their exclusives was still a huge headache for many. On Friday, a friend was one of the first people in line to get into the exhibit hall that morning. (We are all in line to get into convention center by 6am.) By the time they got into the exhibit hall and at Funko's booth the line was already capped. How could that be? The doors just opened and our friend + others that were one of the first ones inside the exhibit hall were told the line was capped. Funko had said before SDCC that exhibitors had to wait an hour before getting in line to purchase exclusives so obviously these exhibitors clearly did a bait and switch with regular attendees passes. Our friend and many others were very disappointed and we're sure the Funko staff got an earful of complaints. Walking around SDCC that day, you could clearly see many retailers selling Funko's SDCC exclusives for way more than Funko was selling them.

SDCC 2015 Recap - Part 2

Here's part 2 but there are actually more... Didn't want to bombard you with a super long post. The Interactive Zone at Petco Park had a huge inflatable Snoopy House. They were giving out free Peanuts Movie bags, hats and posters. The line for this was super long since this was open to anyone with or without a sdcc badge. Snoopy's doghouse also had a slide so you can also slide your way out if you wanted to or just walk straight on through to exit. Inside they also had a Beagle petting area. There were also selfie stations etc...
