Nintendo at SDCC 2026

 

Nintendo is bringing new games and new ways to play to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, where attendees will be among the first in the U.S. to try the newly announced active game Nintendo Switch Sports Resort for the Nintendo Switch 2 system and step into the treasure-hunting action-adventure game Splatoon Raiders. Together, these experiences invite guests to move, explore colorful worlds, and have fun playing together. Throughout the convention center and downtown San Diego, Nintendo will also host friendly competitions, solo challenges, and surprises activities, giving attendees even more opportunities to join the fun.

Marvel's Wolverine - Deep Cut

We’re not just scratching the surface; we’re cutting through it. Insomniac Games’ Creative Director Marcus Smith, Game Director Mike Daly, Narrative Director Walt Williams, and Sr. Project Director Jess Reiner-Reed are joined by actors Liam McIntyre (Wolverine) and Krizia Bajos (Jean Grey), along with Executive Producer Eric Monacelli from Marvel Games to unveil exciting new details from the highly anticipated Marvel’s Wolverine, releasing on September 15 on PlayStation 5 consoles. Moderated by media personality, Naomi Kyle, the panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look into the game’s story, characters, and exclusive never-before-seen content.

Bandai Namco’s TAMASHII NATIONS returns to San Diego for Comic-Con® 2026 with an exciting lineup of Event Exclusive collectibles from Dragon Ball and Naruto, plus a wide selection of figures available at Booth #3329.

This year, Event Exclusives will be available for advance purchase through PREMIUM BANDAI US with on-site pickup at San Diego Comic-Con® 2026.

Attendees who successfully place an Event Pick-Up order will receive a confirmation email containing a QR code to redeem their purchase at the TAMASHII NATIONS booth during the event.

Event Pick-Up orders are the only guaranteed method of securing Event Exclusive items during SDCC® 2026.

Symbiote Studios, the global leader in original and licensed plush toys, has revealed even more exciting plans for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con taking place July 22-26. This year their booth (#5629) will be focused on Transformers and will feature their largest-ever assortment of officially licensed plush toys, headlined by their show exclusive Grimlock G2 plush toy. New Gundam Anime Series to Debut at SDCC 2026 Panel

 

Gundam is landing at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2026. Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. will unveil a brand-new Gundam anime series at the "GUNDAM Showcase 2026 – Unveil the Next Gundam" panel, backed by a dedicated booth featuring the upcoming Gundam anime, GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, a video game title just announced in June, and a free GUNPLA building workshop on the show floor. Exclusive giveaways await both panel and booth attendees.

Jazwares Announces Exclusives and Schedule for SDCC 2026

 

Comic-Con season is officially here, and Jazwares is bringing the exclusives! This year's exclusives span some of today's biggest fandoms, including Marvel, KPop Demon Hunters, Squishmallows, Star Wars, Pokémon, AEW, Five Nights at Freddy's, and more, with products available exclusively at the convention or through Jazwares Vault while supplies last.

Super7 Peanuts Pop-Up at SDCC 2026

 

Super7 x Peanuts Pop-Up will be at the usual location that the Peanuts Pop-Up has been the past few years. This year will feature Snoopy and his siblings. There will be a plush puppy adoption themed area where you can adopt your very own 8" Super Duper Plush of Snoopy, Olaf, Marbles, Spike, Belle and Andy. There's going to be a great selection of exclusive merchandise as well as photo ops, giveaways etc...

Domo Cafe

We picked a good weekend to be in So Cal. While we were down there for DCon, we took a chance and got on the wait list for the new Domo Cafe that just opened in Buena Park, CA. It's in the same spot that the Gudetama Cafe was at. The kept the Gudatema Egg that tells you if they are open or closed but removed Gudetama and replaced it with Domo. When walking in thru the doors when it was our turn to go inside is that all the employees will greet you at the same time. They had a good amount of merch available, a photo op with Chef Domo, photo booth and a claw machine that wasn't working yet. All of the Domo Cafe employees were very friendly. We were told that that they would be receiving new Domo merch every week throughout the summer so you'll have to check back each week to see whats new.

The food was really good!!! It was way better than the Gudetama Cafe food. The drinks were okay or maybe it was just the one that I had. I would go back for the food and try a different drink. The photobooth had a line so we didn't have a chance to get too close to it. Maybe next time. Hopefully their claw machine will be working then too.

DesignerCon Pasadena 2026 - Back Home to Where it All Began

DesignerCon made it's way back home to Pasadena this year during Father's day weekend!!! They sold out of online ticket sales but they did have tickets available in person starting at 1pm. It's been a long time since the very first show so many years ago. The designer toy & collectibles scene has grown exponentially over the years. Dcon grew so big that they had to move it to Anaheim to hold all the interested artists & companies that wanted to exhibit at their show. DesignerCon was built with the support of local indie artists and small companies who took a chance and exhibited at the show as well as the support of collectors who attended every show to purchase art, collectibles, exclusives or to simply hang out with other collectors. 

A couple of years ago, DesignerCon moved from Anaheim to Las Vegas which alienated many local So Cal artists and small companies from exhibiting in Vegas due to logistics and if there were enough interest from collectors to want to travel to Vegas. It felt great to be back in Pasadena! Check out our photos below via our IG to view all the photos. 

USH FanFest 2026

Universal Studios Hollywood FanFest was back for their 2nd year. FanFest lasts only a few week in April and May on select nights. We had the chance to stop during their opening weekend. It was Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters that attracted us to attend this year. They brought back Dungeons and Dragons and the Colorful Yoshi in Super Nintendo World. New additions this year was the brand new One Piece Grand Pirate Show at the Waterworld location, Harry Potter Forbidden Forest, Sailor Moon Screening and a Jurassic Park / World walkthrough that showed off various vehicles, dinosaurs and movie props as well as really great actors to bring to life the characters from the movies.

 

My Neighbor Totoro is Coming Back to the Big Screen

 

When Satsuki and her sister Mei move with their father to a new home in the countryside, they find country life is not as simple as it seems. They soon discover that the house and nearby woods are full of strange and delightful creatures, including a gigantic but gentle forest spirit called Totoro, who can only be seen by children. Totoro and his friends introduce the girls to a series of adventures, including a ride aboard the extraordinary Cat Bus, in this all-ages animated masterpiece featuring the voices of Tim Daly, Lea Salonga, and real-life sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning, in early roles.
