William Shatner and moderator Kevin Smith as they discuss Bill’s illustrious and amazing career, upcoming projects, and his new deep-dive documentary from Legion M by acclaimed pop culture documentarian Alexandre O. Philippe (The People vs George Lucas, 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene, Memory: The Origins of Alien) that takes an up-close, intimate exploration of Shatner's personal journey over his nine decades on Earth.  Kevin and Bill will be joined by Philippe and producers from Legion M (Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Mandy) and Exhibit A Pictures (The People vs George Lucas, 78/52: Hitchcock’s Shower Scene) and will end the panel with what promises to be unforgettable Q&A with the audience.

William Shatner Documentary + SDCC 2022 Hall H Panel

 Legion M and Exhibit A Pictures are announcing a new documentary directed by Alexandre O. Philippe, in which William Shatner takes off the countless masks he's worn throughout his storied career, to reveal the man behind one of the most recognizable faces in the world.

In truly unique fashion, Legion M, the world's first fan-owned entertainment company, is allowing fans to invest directly in the project. Unlike a Kickstarter or IndieGogo campaign, these investors are doing more than just providing the funds to produce the film -- they also own a share of any potential profits the documentary earns. Investment terms have not been released yet, but beginning today fans can sign up to make a non-binding, no-obligation reservation HERE. G.I. JOE Team Announces New Classified Series H.I.S.S. Tank

The G.I. Joe team has officially revealed the very first Classified Series HasLab featuring the G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank. During today’s YO JOE! JUNE Fanstream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel, the team showed off the new addition to the Classified Series with a fun animated video featuring the Cobra Commander.

Sideshow returns to San Diego Comic Con 2022

SIDESHOW ANNOUNCE THEIR RETURN TO SAN DIEGO COMIC CON WITH A HYBRID EVENT FEATURING ONLINE PRODUCT REVEALS AND MORE!

 

The Con is back on! As fans celebrate the return of San Diego Comic Con, pop culture collectibles giants Sideshow have unveiled plans for a hybrid event that combines their much-loved SDCC booth experience with an online “Sideshow Con” to create weeks of geeky content! 

 

Over the last few years, Sideshow has pioneered a unique event format that combined live streamed content, with virtual tours of a physical art gallery, games, contests, and VR components – all with the aim of keeping the convention spirit alive during the pandemic.  

 

As pop culture fandom slowly returns to live-events Sideshow has announced that they will not be abandoning the online side of their con planning. Rather, they will be hosting a web-based "Sideshow Con" the week before the physical event – followed immediately by an in-person appearance at SDCC! 

 

Sideshow’s PR Manager, Andy Smith, said:

 

“There is a magic and an energy at the heart of these physical events, and it was our aim from the outset to capture at least a small part of that vibe. Sideshow Con is as much a celebration as it is a showcase. For us, this is about community and fandom as well as the art. I think that’s what made it work so well.

 

I’m originally from the UK, and for many years visiting San Diego Comic Con was just a dream for me. I watched the con online as best I could, and lived vicariously through fan videos. Dragon Ball Super Film Partners and Crunchyroll Presents Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO Panel

Crunchyroll, the global leader in bringing the ultimate anime experience to fans in over 200 countries and territories, has announced its plans to present a huge panel and booth for Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21-24 to support the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, in North American theaters August 19.

 

Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO takes center stage at the Convention Center on Friday, with a special guest of honor from Japan, Toshio Furukawa, the voice actor for Piccolo and a first-look at the movie – with approximately the first 20 minutes screened exclusively for the SDCC audience in Hall H!

 

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation will also produce a one-of-a-kind experience at the Crunchyroll Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO-themed booth (Booth #4135) inspired to include a replica of Piccolo's House as shown in the film.

Additionally, fans can see – and ride – on buses from the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System wrapped in the commemorative design of Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO!
